Great comment Derrick! I wonder if one of the reasons is that beginning in 1997 (and carrying right through to today), they were the first team to have a wide stripe running from the underarm down the side of the jersey and right down the side of the pants - effectively tieing the jersey and pants together from a design point of view. Very unique at the time and very visually appealing. Thx - Scott
This is exactly why people say the Bucs' creamsicles are a terrible uniform. They went 0-14, 2-12, 2-14, etc. while wearing them. It's associated with losing. Had they won multiple Super Bowls in those uniforms they'd be considered iconic. I think they're a cool uniform and hope they bring them back.
Hi Tom - Great pickup on your part. We must have been so focused on uniform colors that we missed some logos. And of all the logos to miss, that was a beauty! You can check it out on my Heritage Sports website here www.heritagesportsart.com/collections/denver-broncos . Many thanks for the note - Scott
@@ScottSillcox Thanks Scott, by the way greetings from New Haven, CT home of Floyd Little, where in 2002 The Floyd Little Athletic Center opened at Floyd's High School alma mater opened.
Why do so many teams use orange as one of their primary colors? the Bears, the Bengals, the Browns, The Broncos, and the Dolphins all use orange as a primary color. What is it about the orange?
They made the orange the primary jersey after Peyton Manning arrived. They only wear the blue ones maybe 2x a year. usually on a night game or something
Actually they were 0-4 wearing the orange jerseys, they wore white against the giants. Not the reason why they lost. Still love those uniforms the best.
Hi Ungar - I see you're back and commenting - great stuff! Not sure what you mean when you say their logo doesn't have blue in it - maybe we're not looking at the same logos, but the team's official colors used in their logo are orange and blue (and white). They define the blue as Pantone 289. Thanks! Scott
I agree. Even winning can not make the broncos and the patriots uniforms look good. At least the Jets figured that the modern look isn't always the better choice.
Miss the uni's of the 1980s and first half of 90s, Bring em back those are the Broncos I fell in love with
Retroreviews Plus that and turbo grafix 16
The Broncos' uniforms from the mid 1990s onward are one of the best looking in the entire NFL.

The broncos first version of the orange and blue from the 60's don't get enough respect
Scott thanks for sharing NFL uniform history of the Denver Broncos!!!!
I saw a really cool design for denvers uniforms. It featured orange jerseys with baby blue helmets and shorts and it was just a really clean design.

I like the Bronco's uniforms of the late 70's when Morton played there , Haven Moses, Tom Jackson ect?
Denver Broncos #1
No playoffs since they won Super Bowl 50 not #1 for a while
@@michaelleroy9281 I know that. They are still my team and have been my favorite team since 1977!
I love the broncos
I like the Raiders.
Not one picture of Crazy Bronking Horse helmet that followed the brown and yellow?

The only original team left in the AFC west. The OGs.
Los Angeles Chargers says hello

I know that Chicago had the orange and blue way before Denver, but I like the look on the Broncos better
It seems like the Broncos only wear their alternate orange jerseys and they don’t really wear their blue jerseys
The blue is their alternate jersey. Orange is thier home.

Broncos :)
They need to go back to the blue uniforms.
They do for me they look better
0-5 in the Superbowl wearing Orange.
Will E. White is yes and no, blue is a go-go
43-8
Wrong, SB XXI They wore white.
Actually they were 0-4 wearing the orange jerseys, they wore white against the giants. Not the reason why they lost. Still love those uniforms the best.
Why do the Broncos has blue as one of their colors if blue isn’t in their logo?

Scott Sillcox I was talking about the current Denver Broncos logo, I don’t see a lot of blue in that logo
@@ScottSillcox he was talking about the current logo.
the modern uniforms SUCK. the blue helmet with the d and horse and orange jerseys were so much better.
davidallenroth I'm glad them uniforms are the color rush tho
I like the ones they have now but not the all blue ones.
I agree.

The all blue monochromatic look was just wrong. For any team
Why?
no b mcmanus looks better with orange

They copy da bears colors
