@@Murph_gaming Actually, we were initially activated in order to assist citizens that were in need of food and setup testing sites to get people tested for the virus and treat them accordingly. We had been working with Food banks in helping distribute food out to those that were struggling during these hard times, but because of these rioters and looters we had to stop what we were doing and assist Law Enforcement that couldn't handle all the chaos themselves. This has had a huge butterfly effect in every state and now people are starving and struggling to feed their kids all because of ignorant individuals that don't think about others, but themselves.

I would say that these soldiers are already happy, by seeing the people happy like this, that they could create such a moment. Those soldiers and protesters did a fantastic job in showing all the protesters and authorities that there is no need for tear gas, rubber bullets or any lethal options, just by kneeling together, chit chatting together, singing together or like this dancing together can make everyone satisfied and happy. I live in military city USA so we celebrate service members....we SEE their sacrifices. Amputees, burn victims, etc, they work, live, go to school with us. Not a day goes by without seeing a soldier at the gym, picking up milk, pumping gas, volunteering at school, etc. We celebrate Memorial Day, Veteran’s Day, Fourth of July big here...educate kids on the importance of these roles, of all community roles, and on being honest. Aurora the National Guard is basically the Army for their own States, they work for their State Governor and help during times of crisis. they are also a component of the Army Reserves and can be deployed overseas just like everyone else.

@@Murph_gaming Actually, we were initially activated in order to assist citizens that were in need of food and setup testing sites to get people tested for the virus and treat them accordingly. We had been working with Food banks in helping distribute food out to those that were struggling during these hard times, but because of these rioters and looters we had to stop what we were doing and assist Law Enforcement that couldn't handle all the chaos themselves. This has had a huge butterfly effect in every state and now people are starving and struggling to feed their kids all because of ignorant individuals that don't think about others, but themselves.

To be clear this is the desired outcome. The intention was that many of the people protesting might have family in the military and have a neutral/positive opinion of them. Orders are to "Maintain peace and build trust to form a positive relation". Meant to be a blank slate since many don't trust their police.

This is how the people and authorities (local, state or federal) should get along, where everyone is happy and joyful, no hate or violence. I would say that these soldiers are already happy, by seeing the people happy like this, that they could create such a moment. Those soldiers and protesters did a fantastic job in showing all the protesters and authorities that there is no need for tear gas, rubber bullets or any lethal options, just by kneeling together, chit chatting together, singing together or like this dancing together can make everyone satisfied and happy. It’s weird that people don’t know anything about NG/military...they are friendly forces unless needed to enforce protection. I live in military city USA so we celebrate service members....we SEE their sacrifices. Amputees, burn victims, etc, they work, live, go to school with us. Not a day goes by without seeing a soldier at the gym, picking up milk, pumping gas, volunteering at school, etc. We celebrate Memorial Day, Veteran’s Day, Fourth of July big here...educate kids on the importance of these roles, of all community roles, and on being honest. EDUCATE

@@sharonbunting5584 one of my youngest daughters has just joined the military. She has been on the frontlines at the hospital becuz she is an RN. To be honest, I dont understand what the national guard is, but it touched my soul to see them dancing with protestors

Aurora the National Guard is basically the Army for their own States, they work for their State Governor and help during times of crisis. they are also a component of the Army Reserves and can be deployed overseas just like everyone else.
