Hi im Jeff. I don't think I've asked someone to pray for me before but I feel moved to do so now. I was wondering if the Friars or anyone reading this could please pray for me. I've had a lot of serious health problems last 31 yrs and right now I'm trying to do this small thing that would help me with my conditions but it's been very difficult. Also God has put it on my heart to strive my hardest to heal and grow so I can render greater service to God and His creation. Thanks so much. God bless everyone.
I have my phone set to remind me to pray the Angelus at 6am, 12pm, and 6pm. Fr. Chad Ripperger has said that making this prayer a habit helps one to be more disciplined. I love praying this prayer and I have incorporated more prayers, such as the Rosary and the Chaplet of the 7 Sorrows. I encourage everyone to pray the Angelus! This is a wonderful devotion. ❤
I am struggling to stop everything and go pray. There actually is a room meant for breast pumping, quiet zoom call meetings in the office, etc, which I know I can use as a prayer room. Especially 12noon right before lunch! But I am scared and shy. Please pray for strength for me to be like todays’ martyrs of the day Saint Christopher Magallanes and his Companions, and “just do it! - pray at noon at the small room”😝❤🙏🏼
I say the Angelus, though I'm not always awake at 6 AM. I catch up when I wake - and Noon and 6 PM are usually on time. I say it in Latin because I'm old, and grew up before Vatican II. So I learned it in Latin. I'm always impressed by the 3rd Antiphon - Et Verbum caro factum est - Et habitavit in nobis. In nobis. Dwells within us - rather different from 'Dwelt among us.' Simple but profound prayer.
