I really enjoy your vibe!!! I am a born again Christian!!! I was baptized, but tradition and the church were not a part of my life. My testimony is now! I am a 53. A musician, a warrior for the weak, and bringer of the light! It was not enough! I fell to temptation. Drugs, sex, you name it. 2 years ago I had enough. I got down on my knees, in tears and poured out all the love and frustration I had for this life. I asked my Lord and savior Jesus Christ for help!!! It wasn't easy, comfortable, or what I expected. Everything just doesn't turn around for you, YOU have to turn it around. And live righteous! Prayer is the key but only combined with your heart! I talked to Jesus all day and night and was unrelenting in my love for God. It still was a fight! Only when I chose to fight what was in me did we emerge victorious. And only with my Lord and savior Jesus Christ with me. I could not do it on my own. Fight brothers and sisters, fight! The Lord will not let you down! It is us that separate from God. It is in our thoughts where the battle takes place. Fight! You will not be fighting alone!!! I realized something along the way, Jesus doesn't need my help to save this world. I need his to save me. All glory to God! He has not abandoned us, we forget him. Pray and never stop
I struggle with lust, and this VERY simple prayer regimine helped me. The Angelus and the 3 Hail Mary Devotion to be protected from Mortal Sin so my schedule looks like this. 1. 6 AM The Angellus 3 Hail Mary Devotion 2. 12 PM The Angelus 3. 3 Hail Mary Devotion Also, in the morning, I'll pray other stuff such as my Rosary, Auxulium Christanorum, Green Scapular devotion, Litany of St Joseph. At night, I'll do a St Michael Consecration reading and do the Chaplet of St Michael. The BIGGEST thing is the 3 Hail Mary devotion though. My prayer life has been dry for nearly half a year and this ONE devotion helped me pick back everything. This devotion is an absolute must ! God bless 🙏
For about five years I have been praying at set times Morning (my longest time) late afternoon (shortest time) and evening. Or course there are days here and there when someone or something is needing my time. I understand the Lord would rather me be loving to my neighbor so my prayer time is cut short. This has changed my life, I feel the presence of the Lord through my day. I recommend this to everyone!!!

Father Mark a little prayer that stuck with me from when I made my Confirmation 35 years ago! The Difference I got up early one morning and rushed right into the day. I had so much to accomplish that I didn't have time to pray. Problems just tumbled about me, and heavier came each task. "Why doesn't God help me?" I wondered. He answered, You didn't ask," I wanted to see joy and beauty, but the day toiled on, gray and bleak. I wondered why God didn't show me. I love the Angelus, My favorite part of the Angelus is "The Word was made flesh and dwelt among us." I take time to pray for the souls in Purgatory and then for all those that I believe need prayers, in order to be set on God’s path. Sometimes the alarm goes off and I am with other people. I explain why it went off and offer them the opportunity to say a short prayer with me. God Bless 🙏🏻😇🤗
Checking in with Momma Mary 3 times throughout the day at the same time becomes a beautiful pattern in life that starts to flourish into a deep relationship with our Blessed Mother, the one that makes sure the way for us to Jesus 🙏🏽❤️
Do you HAVE to say the Angelus at 6/12/6? Does it still “count” if the times are off some? For instance, 6am is very difficult in my family. If we said it at 8 or 9am, is that still a sufficient time? We DO say it every evening at 6pm, and my Wife and boys say it at 12 (I can’t every day because of my work schedule), but the mornings at 6 are almost impossible for us all. Thank you!!!

Everyone is far from perfect, even the most seemingly “perfect” person is terribly flawed. That’s why we are so blessed to have the sacraments but especially reconciliation and the opportunity to receive Our Lord through the most sacred Eucharist (daily if you so wish!!)

I am finding it best to pray before my feet hit the floor in the morning. I can focus on Jesus alone before the day starts.
We said the Angelus everyday at school at 12 pm!! Now even in my sleep I can recite it :) ..thank my parents for catholic schooling :D
