The best of God is that you can always come back. I gave up God once. I was without God for 3 years. A friend of mine invited me to her church and at first i didn't want to go, but then all of a sudden i accepted because there are movie nights and stuff. But they give a message with every movie, and God's word. I couldn't help it and i just believed again. Everyone has lost faith once, but they can always come back to God. He forgives,

well it's confusing indeed, because in High School, my favorite teacher said he's an atheist but he respects religious people if they're respectful themselves, i also know some people who are the same. but i kinda agree with your view, many atheists who want to convince others by any means that God doesn't exist are exactly as those religious people who want to convince others that God does exists. in any case, thank you for telling me the difference.

Well the thing is, the band is a Christian band whether we are or not. They performed at the single largest Christian tour called Winter Jam. They regularly appear on Christian radio and if you look at some of their merchandise, it's plain to see - they're a Christian band.

I have lived without Him. up until i was 16, the "Christian" life i'd been living was just me going through the motions; i'd go to church on sundays with my parents, be a good person there in the building, but after i'd leave, i'd just be doin my own thing. and that's not how it's supposed to be done. i asked Christ to come into my life and take control. i started to notice immediate changes, in that i'd give up certain things in my life, and in return im closer to God, and as a result im happy
I'd just like to point out that on the hard rock skillet songs, in the comments, everyone's like "Ya bleepin skillet! I bleepin love skillet!" and then you come to this song and you see all the Christians talking about how they've pulled through something or are going through something hard. It makes you wonder how they can completely ignore songs like this and not even think about how skillet is trying to spread the word.

That's exactly right. True Christianity is a "faith" not a religion. And everyone has faith in something; even those who claim to have no faith at all. In saying that, they contradict themselves. They have faith placed in their own knowledge and understanding of how the world works. Christians choose to believe that their God is the ultimate answer, and put their faith in Jesus Christ to save them from eternal death. Everyone has faith. It's just what you choose to put it in that sets you apart.
This reminds me of when I met my friend in 2nd grade she's my best estimate Friend ever were in 8th grade even though we go to different schools she's still my best friend I just saw her last Sunday it was awesome to know the spark of us and our friendship hasn't changed and I may sound like some little kid but it's true I'm so glad we are still friends and I finally can relate to the song I've gotta freind in me best friends forever thank u god for letting me still see her
