What i really like about skillet is that their music can target anyone. It doesn't matter if you're Christian or not, but you can still get the message from the music (in this case, that you're perfect the way you are) and you can take the message any way you want! I'm a full on Christian Pentecostal, but sometimes i forget that they are a christian rock band. Thumbs up for Skillet!!

Don't let things like that get to you, thinking about how bad things are only makes it worse and unlike how you'd probably think, thinking about it doesn't take stress away. It's good that the song makes you cry, you're human, you're supposed to cry. Crying is a great way of relieving stress. You should try picking up some kind of hobby like drawing, it's what I did after some serious therapy I went through and is very helpful to cope with stress.
This is a song I relate to. I have a bad knack for beating myself up for the things I do wrong. Don't be like me. Focus on the good, even when it is hard to find. It will make all the difference.

I really relate to this. I struggle with self loathing. Sometimes I say things that may come off as mean when I don’t want to come off as mean. It’s completely unintentional. I don’t want to cause harm at all or hurt the feelings of someone that I love and care about. What’s difficult for me is to pick up on it in the nick of time and I always get angry with myself once I realize that I could’ve worded it a little differently. But I’m grateful that there is a God over us that loves us all so much and has the full power to help me get past my mistakes and be at work in my life.
skillets a life preserver that's always there, but so is family and friends. skillet helps me when im upset so does hanging out with friends and spending time with family. they all stop me from drowning .:)

Even if you don't believe in what they believe or understand why they believe it, still doesn't give you the right not to respect there decision. After all it is there life, And not to be mean by pointing this out but you kinda just contradicted yourself. If you don't care one bit but then do care when it's a personal problem then you overall do care, I could say i don't really care about any of this but in some shape or form i do. if i didn't i wouldn't of made my original comment telling others to stop having religion fights. And i understand the need for some cussing due to anger but when every sentence has fuck or fucking in it, its just a bit much.
Nobody is perfect, yet we strive to be. Perfection is in the eye of the beholder. You know, if we all just believed that we were perfect the way we are, the world would be a much better, happier place.

We became imperfect creatures after Adam sinned in the Garden of Eden. However, God is abundant in grace. He loved you before the creation of the world. He wants everyone to repent & seek him. He's the only answer to your emptiness inside you. Money, sex, drugs etc. doesn't give long-term satisfaction. God is amazing if you give him a chance. But most people blame God instead of satan so they never heal. So sad.

actually none of us can handle the test, that's why Jesus was sent here to die in our place and pay for our forgiveness, so that we can be made right with God, even if we don't pass the test of righteousness on our own it's God's righteousness in Jesus that passes the test for us. All we have to do is accept it by faith ask Him to save us and confess that we are not good enough on our own and then turn to follow Him instead of live for ourselves or in sin.
