- A challenging day in the Bucks countryside with torrential rain and no wind, this was certainly a day for the steadfast!

What a brilliant way to see the drives! Some nice shooting!
Yeap, we all got soaked, but the rainbow did come out for us at the end. 😊
Thanks for watching and all your hard work!
Top loader best I’ve seen give yourself A tick ❤
Good to see the drives from a different angle. Loved the slowmo flush

Nice vid.....I beat on this estate James and Emma are great keepers
it was a tuff day for James, the weather was just horrific, but they worked their socks off!
🇪🇨🇪🇨🇪🇨👍🤝
Nice to see some flatcoats working there.
Sure is!
Lovely looking spot ‘a tad moist tho ,but a day shooting is better than a day at work ,some nice shooting on the last drive .great videos, really well filmed ,keep em coming
Thanks Andrew!
Nice vid. Unfortunately birds not getting up making it not much of a challenge.
Hi Ben, yes difficult day for the keepers to get the birds up due to the horrific weather however the ones that were taken were good sporting birds, especially on drive 4. thanks for watching
Do you always shoot from a chair? Quad bike or buggy might get you to the peg more easily?
Hi Andrew I prefer to shoot from the chair over a quad or such like as I can reach more from the chair. I always have a mule to take me to my pegs so no hardship really! Thanks for watching
What a day, this season has been one of the wettest I’ve known, nice birds considering the weather and some nifty camera work from the boss😂, looked like a good cartridge to bird ratio, take care and see you next video 😎
Awww, he’s in a wheelchair and still has no sympathy for anything else, bless
Grow up
Wouldn’t be in a rush to shoot there, very low stuff
Hi Richard, unfortunately the weather didn't give it a true representation of what the birds would normally achieve.
@@theseatedgun2377 Hi JP,Happy New Year…..understand,one of the reasons why I won’t pay for expensive days anymore, just not value for money.Think I’ll just carry on enjoying watching you
Qué marca de escopeta es ?
Hola, es una beretta 687 EELL clasica, una de dos. Choque múltiple calibre 12. ¡gracias por ver!
God knows why your shooting 34gm 4’s at 15-25 yard pheasants! It’s painful to watch you fill them with so much lead JP
Hi Stuart thanks for watching. The birds here are normally 35-45 metre birds, as with all shoots we go on we always do our research on heights and types of birds so as we can best select the optimum cartridge to ensure clean and humane kills. That somewhat was affected by the weather conditions on this specific day resulting in the birds flying lower. The cartridge used had already been selected and it wasn't until we were out in the field did it become apparent that the birds were not going to get up to their normal heights however I didn't have any alternative loads with me. On birds of 15- 25 metres I would normally be using a 30/6. Thanks for your observation.
@@theseatedgun2377 thanks for your reply, I appreciate your dilemma! I always pack two loads of cartridges for that very reason, I use a 25gm felt wad No 5 which kill’s everything out to 45 yards with the right chokes and only then step up to 32gm+. I’ve 35 years experience in the Cartridge And Gun trade so would love to have a chat one day soon
