You spent a good amount of time in your last reply to me, I appreciate it. I apologize for throwing you some shade, when in acuallity I was upset with UA-cam for all of a sudden, out of the blue, I started getting all these "roof race" videos. Almost all... on walkable roofs, in nearly perfect weather conditions. In the end I always give credit where it's due, and you do nice work and create good content. I'm originally from N.W. Indiana, and I cut my teeth doing roofs back when there was no "cap nails, air nailers plastic underlayment and architectural shingles". There were "tin tabs, roll roofing, felt paper, three tab shingles (all in paper wrapped bundles" and archaic roof cleats for toe boards. Extension ladders were all wooden, and they had round rungs. Trucks for rooftop loading were virtually non existent. Almost all tear offs had cedar shakes underneath and was filthy, hard work. Even after helping hump shingles, being sweaty, nasty, grungy and wore out, I was still able to hand nail roughly 2 squares an hour. Nothing to brag about, and no way to compare with the tools you all have available to use these days. Again, sorry for being so negative.
@@NWIVeteranConstruction You are doing a great thing. My video creating days are probably over, but if you think you'll be posting more videos, let me know and I'll sub. Make it a great day brother.
@@DigiDuit yea I'm working on one right now. Not sure when it'll be done, hoping for Sunday but it's a big one and weird af for me to do. Got a ton of other videos I haven't been able to edit because this video takes up so much space on the computer
@@NWIVeteranConstruction Looking forward to it. Thank you for all your time, effort and hard work. You've brought back memories, some of which I really wanted to forget, but also many great ones. (Anecdotally...now I'll have nightmares of those old, rickety ass 3 story wooden round rung ladders, bowing in the middle like a wet noodle, carrying those half open, paper wrapped, beat up bundles of three tab shingles sliding all about).
