I am in a smaller market in the US. Our Black Car service local is based on $90 per hour. Our regular taxi is Base plus mileage. Black usually requires more time, such as positioning for pickups or waiting for everyone to say good by on the return. Since there is more of an "experience" with Black car, an hourly rate makes more sense for us.
Very interesting. Thanks for sharing!
I'm in the US too. What booking software do you use that can calculate time-based quotes?
I want to start one but am in Las Vegas.do you know any companies that give clients to private lim please
Not in Vegas sorry I live in Sydney
what car you drive?
Im in a well saturated market,NYC. I did black car service years ago when I was like 22. (Wish i started my own) In a over populated city like NYC i would be taking clients into say the airports or middle of Manhattan stuff like that. Question is, do some charge the drive time to the client? Or is that the base. Also what about tolls? In NY the tolls go up every 6 months it feels like. Its now $22USD just to get in, and will be $18 to go anywhere below 60th street in Manhattan.( thats where a large majority of my pick up and drop offs will be.) Should i work that into my pricing?
In Australia, clients aren't usually billed for "drive time." Prices are typically fixed based on individual rates. Whether you include road tolls in the total or charge them separately, it's crucial to factor in these extras. Hope this helps!
@@mychauffeurlife thanks. Keep up the good work, and thanks for the videos.
Which company can you recommend to if l want to start one
Try some local chauffeur company. There must be some near you
