Very very detailed and cured my anxiety from installing this! I’ve done radios before but this one confused me since there were extra things that I didn’t know where it went. Personally on mine i wont be using bluetooth i strictly got this just to use it for Apple Car-play and it uses the data from your iPhone to connect to google maps/apple maps. I have seen some reviews that people have had issues with bluetooth from this unit I believe that it may be using a weak chip or an outdated one. I’ll be installing this tomorrow but thanks again so much for the video!! Also, i do see that on the front left corner there is what seems to be a microphone but I believe that the problem is that it’s too weak for people to hear you from it. On my comment on your previous video i bought a microphone that you connect to one of the harnesses on the back and im gonna see how it goes I’ll update my comment.
Hi what happens to the video display between the speedo and rev counter? Does this still work? Cheers Mark I'm just about to purchase a 2016 trailhawk in the uk
@@ericborc it made it to where I can use waze or Google maps app on the stereo however you would have to connect to your phones hotspot to use it. I just went back to using it on my phone screen. I think you can buy an adapter kind of like car play to use with it but I have not
The only issue I had was not being able to hear people when they called me. There were two wires I had to change. If you contact xtrons they are usually pretty helpful

How'd it go with the external mic? Which one did you buy? People cannot hear me on calls but I can hear them.

Just tried installing mine. Just as you said, you can't plug anything in wrong. But for some reason, my unit won't turn on.

I exchanged the white to green and grey to purple

@@GeorgeWS I didn't change any of the wires that were on my Jeep. Only the wires coming from the stereo

hello i buy similar unit but i have a problem, my volume on max its very low compared with original unit
Go into the car settings, then to AMP at the bottom. Then turn up the volume.

Can you plug subwoofers into it???
I'm not sure. I just use factory speakers
