To SAVE a BIG HEADACHE & FRUSTRATION, instead of entering the room to get guilty spark AFTER grenade jumping, head to the door to the RIGHT... to get a CHECKPOINT. This way you won’t have to repeat the process of grenade jumping if you die.
I've been playing through Halo CE, did the Library today. It used to be my favorite level back in the day, just me, the Flood, and my Metallica tape. I died a few times, before remembering that a much more leisurely stroll worked best. Don't be in a hurry, just enjoy the journey.
Hi Silver, thanks for being so awesome and making this guides they've been very useful, but I have 2 questions: if the first thing I play is the LASO playlist I can get the achievements for mission passed? and in the Halo 2 LASO run you dont have the Scarab skull on?
Blitzard I'm not silver, but I'll answer anyways... Lol I'm not actually sure about the mission passed achievements when doing LASO, and no, there's no scarab gun skull when doing halo 2 LASO. Maybe silver can shed some light on this.
Yes, you'll get the achievements for completing the individual missions no matter how you play them, whether you're in a playlist or just selecting the level individually. Regarding LASO, in order to get the achievements you need to play through the specific LASO playlists so the skulls are pre-selected for you. Unfortunately, these playlists don't contain any beneficial skulls like Scarab, Bandanna, Envy, etc.
Raymond Jiang facts, just realized this.. 🙄. This is the worst level. Literally have 18 missions left before I get the “legend” achievement (3 Halo CE missions+HALO2)
I was just doing this and made it to the “wait it gets worse part” but when the cutscene started it froze and the game crashed. Lost 30 mins of my life.
i guess i need to do that skip at the start. trying to get to the first door normally is impossible. there's nowhere near enough ammo to deal with the massive swarms of the flood
Gotta love how you watch walk thru’s and the maker is like yeah just walk this way and when I do it I have a 45’ solid wall where he has a nice wide open hallway. Ugh
thats funny, i always thought it just kept spawning flood in a never ending torrent on this level, guess that just shows bungies brilliance and alot of good game design is deceiving the player into feeling like simple things are far more complex
READ THIS!!!11!!!1 as the doors start to close run up to the door and wedge yourself between it you should glitch into the inside of it back up inside the door where 343 guilty spark is till you see the other side at this point you can shoot the flood through the wall do this till you reach the checkpoint walk forward try to get yourself back on the other side if you end up falling through the map restart checkpoint and try again till successful

Being able to skip that huge encounter at the start makes this much easier as well as skipping the holdout sections on floors 2 and 3.

Ying-Ling Im at 95 or 96 percent for the legend achievement their is only 10 missions in ce campaign though
