Hooooooooly hell, as someone who works with and trains dogs on a behavioral level, you earned my immediate respect and sub just by successfully bonding with your huskies enough to have them off leash and recall trained. They are such particular dogs and so few people who have them are fully capable of handling them and geez it's nice to see that some people actually research and learn about their breed before they get a dog, and then YOU ADVOCATE FOR OTHERS TO LEARN THEIR BREED BEFORE ADOPTING/BUYING??? Yes, please, take my sub. I am legitimately sad that it took me this long to find this video and therefore your channel. Safe travels and happy trails, this is absolutely beautiful. Thank you for being an absolutely wonderful example of responsible dog ownership.
I had no idea how much of a handful a husky was until our girl found us.. She was a thrown out and literally wouldn't stop following me around a grocery store so i had to take her home! I wish i knew more about them but it was an unplanned family member! I applaud these guys for being so great with theirs! Miss Daisy is all about my kids but once you try getting her to do anything else shes a stubborn mule!
Oh we LOVE YOU! Thank for this amazing message. I missed replying to you, and I wanted to. Our deepest gratitude and we we invite you to come see our newest videos ❤️ hugs!
I’m binge watching husky squad videos and I really really love hearing both of you just talk. You both are so calm and your responses to each other gets me so inspired to practice being more calm and living in the moment.
Thank you so much for the nice comments :) Yes, we love the zen state of mind. It's the only way we can enjoy life to its full potential :) Thank you for being here!
I recently got a husky/great pyrenees mix. No training whatsoever, super stubborn, and was surrendered for running away too many times. It’s been about 3 months now, he now knows how to sit, lay down, shake, and knows the basics of come and stay. I’m gonna be honest, I almost gave up on him so many times. But i’m glad i didn’t. He’s starting his off leash training now, and your videos are what kept me motivated to keep training! Thanks :)
What a beautiful little family! I believe you when you state that more important than training, or at least equal is the calmness you have first and foremost between the two of you. I’m so impressed that you both are mature enough to realize this, and act in harmony with that. Love 💕 your videos. 🇨🇦ON. Paul
simon parry Thanks Simon! Just remember, this one of the most difficult breeds, and they are not off leash dogs,. It’s a huge dog parenting commitment that will last a very long time (15-20) years. You’ll love this (interview) article about us here: huskysquad.blog/hello-bark-interview
Should have more of this in the world. Thank you for this peace. Nature is really God's gift. And😄 man's best friend. Love the squad. Great team all of you.🤗 Yes.☺
I love your videos they are so well edited and your dogs are beautiful and you must have trained them so well to have them off leash keep up the amazing work
Thank you so much, Chloe! That means a lot :) Like we explained in the video, we've developed a very zen, and strong connection with the Squad over the years and now it's so pleasant. It's definitely possible for anyone with patience, love and consistency. Although we've have the Squad off leash in specific enviroments, they are not 100% off leash like other breeds.
Husky Squad I am such a wolf lover and i think a husky is the closest i am going to get, do you think australia is a little to hot for a husky and do huskys need snow could you give me some tips
Husky SquadI really would like husky because they are so intelligent and look like great partners Also how did u get your dogs so well off leash what kind of things did you do i really am curious because i absolutely love dogs and i want a really well trained dog to be my companion and go on walks and things like u do, u r such an inspiration thx for chating with me
Huskies are not like wolves at all - they look closest to wolves but they are definitely not an average breed :) I highly recommend to adopt/rescue a dog (we don't buy puppies ever!) based on the lifestyle you live and how you can provide for them - and NOT based on their looks. Huskies originate from Siberia and they thrive and are healthy in cold climates like where we live. Heat is unnatural for them (it's very uncomfortable for them). I'm not sure what the climate is there like, but I know that even for the Squad - they get very bothered during the two months of summer here and it's not anything like the heat in other regions. I suggest doing a lot of research on the breed that fits you best and adopt a dog accordingly :) I love wolves too - but I respect their place where they belong - in the wild like they deserve to live :)
You've inspired me to evaluate my life and needs. I've always turned to the outdoors to reset my soul and your videos remind me that happiness is within reach without material things weighing us down.
you explain what you're all about...this is the third video of you guys I watch, and I'd worked out what you are about without the explanation. but still, it is quite wonderful to come across folks who walk the journey of life like you guys do - mindfully, joyfully, lovingly, and indeed the Huskies do feel it and it's very special to witness. you're spreading quite a bit of love doing what you do, so I'm hopeful you'll be sticking around for a while.
Just had the pleasure of watching your video with your beautiful pups. We just adopted a 12-week-old husky pup who we call Angus and he has my heart. I wanted a dog as my ESA and many people said Husky is a good breed for companionship, however he has also proven to be quite a handful 😉. I really appreciated what you said about how our mood, disposition, and energy can have an effect on our dogs behavior. So I have decided to start minimizing things in my home as well as within myself to have a calmer and more peaceful environment for Angus. I do believe this will help with his other training, making him more responsive. I also told my husband that we definitely need to go camping down there, it's a nearly 6 hour drive for us from Washington but I think it would be so worth it. Thank you for sharing this video it was a pleasure to meet you and your beautiful pups. PS can't wait to try the pasta 😋!
Did you post the recipe somewhere for the tai Italian one pot wonder? Yum yum! Great video! From one husky lover to another. I echo everything everyone's saying. Love the calmness and the music with the imagery. Wish I found you sooner!
Welcome! We're so glad to have you :) And thank you so much for the kind words: ❤ since we no longer feed the Husky Squad kibble, and our diet changed so much too (for health reasons for all of us), we changed the way we eat at camp too! You can see here how we eat all at camp: ua-cam.com/video/cv2gqCIiUPM/v-deo.html And here is how the pups eat on a daily basis: www.huskysquad.com/sp/kibble-to-raw/ref/yths Excited to share more with you this year! :) Howls and hugs from the Husky Squad and Happy New Year!
We meant to do Thanksgiving prep tonight and so were just going to watch a few minutes of this and save the rest for tomorrow... and then somehow it was suddenly half an hour later and we'd watched the whole thing. Amazing video -- loved it!!
hahha!! How do you guys always manage to make us smile?? :) Thank you guys so much! So happy you liked the video! We're already missing that serene campground ... it was only a few weeks ago. Sending you guys love across the ponds! ❤
I love to see how people care and respect their dogs feelings not just treat them as a pet! Great job guys! Love and enjoy when I watching , it make me feel calm and peaceful 👍
+Vivianne Bank thanks so much! They are alive, have feelings, likes, dislikes - we believe they deserve the best ❤️ their quality of life literally depends on us, right? So happy our videos bring you peace 🤗
+Vivianne Bank thank you so much! ❤️ each dog is an individual with their own personality. To us, they are family and you treat family with love, right? 👊😀
Surprising your video has been shot so well and well edited but you don't have 1 million views where as I have seen few videos not done so well but has 1 million views. UA-cam really disappoints me. You have done a fantastic job and I love your dogs
I love to hear them talk😊 They are so well behaved. They are remarkable!!❤️ With all the hiking you do with them, do they ever chase an animals they see, like squirrels, etc?
Thank you so much Melissa :) We feel they deserve EVERYTHING :) I think you'll love the new video we released today if you've not seen it yet huskysquad.video/wild-camping-with-dogs Tell us in the comments :)
I've had Huskies before the one I have now so I'm not new to the breed although I never took my Huskies out camping with me before the one I have now. It's interesting that you have a cot for your dogs, I have been using a good size floor mat but maybe I'll bring my cot next time for my girl and see how she likes it. We will be heading down to Arizona in less than two weeks for one last overlanding trip south from here in Washington before the snows come.
I miss the North west so much! My Newly adopted Husky Sage, would love it up there. but for now we are stuck in southern CA, at least its fall time but the Last 2 days have been a little to warm for Sage only get out in the mornings. But Tomorrow I will Take Him up to the Mountains..
Thank you so much for adopting! This really warms our hearts ❤❤❤❤❤. Yes, the heat can be a challenge and early mornings in the mountains is definitely a good idea. The mountains are usually cooler. Have a great time tomorrow :)
Its so beautiful the things in life happen. it has been 2 Years sense my Best Friend Bear, Passed away he was by my side for 15 Years I Love that dog so much miss him More than words can ever describe.. any how I was alone in the Mountains and Made eye contact with a Beautiful Coyote we where watching etch other for a while and something washed over me I can not Really Put into words but It reminded me of How Much I Miss that Bond I Had with Bear. then as I got Home there was a Loss Husky on my street, she was Greeting me and I was Just about to bring her in so I could start Knocking on doors to Look for her owner but as soon as I thought of that animal control pulled up to take her I Guess my Neighbor was Complaining and called any how I got the dogs assigned ID/Kennel number from the Lady that Picked her up to make sure they did not put her down and Just incase I found the Owner I kept in eye on her using the shelters website and In doing so I seen the Male Husky that we eventually adopted in September at a Local Shelter I seen a Pic of him and something spoke to me it was in his Eyes I Just Felt drawn but I was still concerned for that other Female Husky, as her Family had not Clamed her and I never found where they Lived. :( but it turned out both Huskies where up for adoption the same Date so we made the decision to go in that day and see what's up turned out a Nice man was adopting the Female that no one had Claimed so we got the Male and I'm Glad we did already Love Him as If we Had Him for Years Its Only been Months. I'm not sure on his History but he seamed to be an out door dog as the collar that was on him was Faded by UV rays along with some other things we Noticed. he Had a Bit of aggressive possession in the Beginning with food and Toys but as soon as I started Hand feeding him he got better. he is Very sweet they say he is about a Year give or take and it shows lol he is at the Phase where he will Listen to you if something is in it for him starting to become more Independent and stubborn. but I have been working with him he already gets all the Basics Like sit lay and I'm working on stay/wait he does it more than Half the Time. I use a 20ft Training Leash and working on his Call back when walking with our older dog Dolly, we let him ahead with her and Randomly call his Name Sage, Just to Get his attention then say Come and He does More often than Not I try to attempt during distractions as well other people animals and stuff. also on the way to the Place we walk Him when he is on his shorter leash as we approach a Cross RD I Have Him sit and Wait until it is Clear to cross .. but on the Other side of the "training" I do understand what you Guys say about Zen, as that is how I was Connected with my dog Bear in the passed simply show Love and lead by Example so Really we are working on our Selves more than the dogs. It is so cool to see others that Get it Its a Beautiful thing and they Teach us so Much.. I Hope you all have a wonderful day.. sorry for the Long Read lol...
Hi folks thanks for your vids, the bond you have with your dogs is rather special, I'm loving the cookery part of your show and my husky "Bob" hasn't had any complaints either, he doesn't get kibble in his diet instead I give him TVP ( textured vegetable protein) chunks soya meat basically as a mixer. I wonder i chef Ramsey watches your channel I think he should. keep the shows coming were big fans. Love a blessings on you Dave and Bob dog X
It's always so great to discover those beautiful places with you, this one is awesome! It's incredible to see the husky squad on their camping beds staying with that calm without leash in the middle of the forest where I suppose that there are plenty of animal sound distractions. You are the best, I love your videos from de begining to the end. Thanks for sharing, best hugs to all of you! 😘💕🐺🐺🐺
What a great camping video would love to camp with you guys the dogs are lovely what a great idea to give them camp beds raised off the floor nice idea keep up the great videos
I’m glad I found this channel! Very underrated. Good content and great cinematography! Keep it up. Love the doggos. My wife and I are taking our two huskies for their first camping trip. Should be very exciting
Thank you so very much for the sweetest comments. You likely love your husky so much! :) Thank you so much for inspiring us to make more videos :) It means A LOT! ❤😀
Definitely liked this video, and subscribed to your channel. I also love your Instagram it's gorgeous! I would definitely buy a Husky Squad sweatshirt, but i'm saving my money for a husky, LOL.
They are special dog cots we love and have been using since this video. ll the details are here in the new video; huskysquad.video/wild-camping-with-dogs
Wow this was beautiful wish we could save enough to get out of the city for a bit. Finally had a day off and out circuit breaker broke so we had to spend the day fixing it. Next day off though I hope to make a like this! What camera do you use it looks very high quality!
Amazing video! Do you have any links or videos to where I could learn more about getting my dogs to stay with us off leash? I’ve got a husky shepherd mix that likes to go exploring and I’d love to get him a little more calm so we can take trips like this
Hi! I love your channel! Do the pups ever go from you in the wildness? We are planning to own a husky and we are reading everywhere how they love to escape… Can they be off leash ? Thank you
Thank you so much! You're reading correctly. Huskies are very independent and therefore can't be off leash unless you developed a very deep bond and leadership like we have with our pups. Go visit HuskySquad.com where you can save your seat for our training and bonding course we're working on. Also, check out our Kibble to Raw course so you can transition your dog to a healthy raw food diet from the start. This is one of the most impactful things you can do as a dog parent. A dog that eats a healthy, species-correct diet of course lives a healthier life but is also much easier to train. Think of kids who are on a sugar high and hyper because of candy ... that's how dogs are on kibble. Learn more about everything on HuskySquad.com ❤ We wish you a happy new year and we're always happy to help with any questions about becoming a Mama Wolf! Very exciting :)
I have a Siberian Husky and take her camping all the time., I use the dog bed for the same reason, keep the dirt, mud and bugs off of her. Even though I have a very strong bond with her, I don’t let her off leash. Her prey instinct is strong and I have yet to take that risk with her off leash. I use a 75 foot tie down leash. She is 2 yrs.
I love camping with my dog. Biggest thing is know what predators are around my buddy was camping with his dogs and a cougar killed 1 of them and the other lost a leg gotta know your surroundings and be prepared.
These two are the most safest campers with these guys around. I'll take three huskies over a gun any day.
I’ve never been a fan of TV either and I totally agree that it all starts with ourselves! Having a peaceful and calm life, I love it❤️

Best content on UA-cam by far
It's always so great to discover those beautiful places with you, this one is awesome! It's incredible to see the husky squad on their camping beds staying with that calm without leash in the middle of the forest where I suppose that there are plenty of animal sound distractions. You are the best, I love your videos from de begining to the end. Thanks for sharing, best hugs to all of you! 😘💕🐺🐺🐺

Thank you Patricia! If you like this video, you’ll love the new one we just published today 👉 huskysquad.video/wild-camping-with-dogs
Amazing video! Do you have any links or videos to where I could learn more about getting my dogs to stay with us off leash? I’ve got a husky shepherd mix that likes to go exploring and I’d love to get him a little more calm so we can take trips like this
So pretty!
Wow. I thought I was watching a Hollywood movie. Beautiful intro.
When will we be able to see the recipes for the one pot wonders?
Yuna, kimari and tidus ahhaha FFX😎 I love
