[New] 2025 Ford Mustang GTD (limited) I $300k, 800+bhp

With the Mustang GTD, Ford is bringing a racing car for the road that is intended to put fear into the hearts of European competitors. It is derived from the GT3 racing car.
Ford's Mustang line-up has never been stronger. In addition to the classic coupés and convertibles, customers can also choose from special versions such as the Dark Horse or Motorsportler variants GT3 and GT4.
At the heart of the Mustang GTD is a custom-designed 5.2-liter supercharged V8 with dual air intakes and a dry-sump engine oil system. The engine should achieve over 7,500rpm, achieve a target output of around 800 bhp and thus make the GTD the most powerful Mustang of all time - which also offers a divine sound mix of compressor screams and V8 roars.
The Mustang GTD leaves a lot of scope for individualization for its buyers when it goes on sale at the end of 2024/beginning of 2025 - also in Europe, by the way, as Ford officially confirmed. It is already clear that the edition will be limited, although Ford is not yet giving any specific figures. But there is already an announcement about the price. In the USA it starts at $300,000 (around 282,000 euros).
