Dr Peterson is a very good speaker i struggled all my life in public speaking like this is my nightmare i always avoid it in school in middle school high school and then in college it's still my worst nightmare till now i dropped from college i never comprehend my fear when i facing people
You can overcome it, I know because it has always been my greatest fear, but doing it anyways, and doing it badly at first, is how it gets better. You could look at only one person who doesn't make you nervous, or you can look just over the heads of everyone to the last row of seats. You'll seem to be looking at the audience but you don't actually look at faces. It will help you, but eventually you'll have to look at them to be able to connect to your audience. There is an organization called Toastmasters who help you develop public speaking. Perhaps there's a chapter in your country.
Here's another thing that happened to me: I had to make a couple of presentations for my work place and I felt so nervous, but when I mentioned it to others afterwards they were surprised, saying I didn't look nervous at all. So sometimes we imagine that everyone detects our fear and judges us, but this isn't necessarily true

I like the title. “WHAT MAKES A GOOD STORY”. Dr Peterson, in my sincere opinion about what makes a good story is about you. Without effort to write a story just thinking of the plot and the characters in which I would write, my main character is you. I would tell about all the great things that people have had happen in their lives because of your earnest and devotion to help them. How you have given the best part of yourself so others could benefit. I would layout information on your books.. So see Dr Peterson the good story is the story of you,which I know will live on and on after we are all gone from sight…
Do good stories tell us messages that are beneficial for survival? Or do they tell us messages that are beneficial for well-being? Because those two things can align, but don’t always have to.

Doc, with all respect, that's NOT the actual classical definitions of Comedy and Tragedy. Aristotle laid out the genres in the Poetics--Tragedy can indeed have a happy ending (it's modern name is simply Drama), and Comedy is inherently based on exaggeration, not necessarily improvement of the lives of the characters involved. The rest of the clip is great, though.
