I started back in January using the Grande lash in the past couple of weeks I have really started to see results I'll definitely try some of your more affordable recommendations .

I was using Careprost-the generic of Latisse. Unfortunately I got the red rimmed eyes and hollows under my eyes from it. I think it’s the prostaglandin in it that can cause that. I would definitely recommend a serum without the prostaglandin 😊
I was using that also. And then it just quit working. It did irritate my eyes some.
I have the same issues with Grande lash MD. Lashes look great but eyes are red all around them 😬

Hi, I really like your channel but I think that there is a bit of misinformation here. The active ingredient in grande lash is prostaglandin which is a hormone like substance made from chemicals. I researched this after my eyelids became discolored after using it for several months. Perhaps these lash enhancer’s have amino acids as you have stated but the active ingredient that is making your lashes grow is prostaglandin.
These are the potential side effects of using lash serums with prostaglandin:
Darkening of the skin around the eyes
Eyelid inflammation
Burning, stinging, and eye pain
Darkening of the iris
Thinning and loss of eyelashes
Blurred vision
Drooping eyelids
I must admit that it was wonderful to have longer lashes but I personally do not think it is worth the risk.
SEVERAL PPL have lost fat around the Eye..... not only under eye, but also upper lid hollows!

Thank you for all your valuable research. I have been using the formula from City Beauty for a couple of months, but haven't really noticed a difference. Maybe I'll try the kind you've been using. *UPDATE!! - I just looked in my hand mirror in the window light and I do think there is a difference. Some of the gaps are filled in a bit. They aren't where I want them to be, but I'll keep using the City Beauty for a while since it was a little pricey at around $60, if I remember correctly. However, the City Beauty gives you twice as much in the container as most lash boosters do. So, it comes out to be pretty economical in the long run. Thanks again!

I just ordered the Liaison Growth. One for lashes and one for brows. They were half price, for $24.99. I also ordered their mascara. While checking out, I was offered an extra one for lashes and brows for $12.50. So of course I couldn't resist! I'll let you know how they perform!

I have glaucoma and in the early stages I was given an eyedrop for it. My lashes grew so long and pretty and also dark. The only one I would recommend that comes close is grande lash serum.
I have Glacouma and use 2 different eye drops, my Dr had told me there were 2 side effects, pro makes your lashes grow, con can turn the color of your eyes, no problem here cause I have brown eyes.

Your lashes are beautiful! Very nice presentation of the lash growth serum history. I would love to use a serum but my eyes are extremely sensitive due to dry eye.
I’ve been using lash growth serum since September 2020. I use it on my eyebrows too. I no longer *have to* wear mascara and I get a lot of compliments on how long my eyelashes are! My eyebrows grew back in to what they were in my 30’s - I actually had to pluck them! Just a note to those saying how expensive growth serum is... I have been using the same bottle, daily for 6 months! Thank you so much for your informative video 💕

I’m on my 2nd tube of Rodman and Fields and don’t notice that much difference but I know it works on many others but it’s 150.00!! I’m definitely going to give the Vie Beauty a try. Thank you so much for this video! 💕
The Rodan and Fields cost me $129.00, and I had to stop it after one eyelash application. Even just on my brows, it still inflamed my eyes.
Rodan and Fields is also going through a bunch of lawsuits because of their eyelash serum. I tried it a few years ago and it worked beautifully but other people have had a lot of issues and have sued them over their serum. Just beware, I’ve also used grande lash that one works pretty well, but I’m gonna try one of the other ones in her video.

I was a Latisse user for a couple of years, but then moved and didn't have the same eye doctor. It just wasn't as convenient to get in to get my RX filled every couple of months so I stopped using it. I later heard that cold pressed castor oil did the same thing. I thought that sounded gimmicky, but after some research I gave it a go. I have to say that I have had amazing results on both my eyebrows and my eyelashes. I would say even better than the Latisse. People ask me all the time who does my lash extensions. I bought the Briogeo cold pressed castor oil and think I paid $25, but you could probably buy it at just about any GNC. Just make sure to buy only castor oil that is "cold pressed". Something about this method helps maintain all the good stuff. The bottle I have is 1.5 fl. oz. and after 6 months I have barely made a dent. It will probably expire before I use it up. I have made using it a part of my nighttime routine. I just use the disposable wands to keep everything sanitary and it is so easy.
I have to use the glaucoma drops in just 1 eye & my lashes on that eye are longer, lol. I had wondered about the difference. Now I know & just put you on hold and skipped over to Amazon. Placed my order for the serum. Thank you!
I was using the prescription drug Latanoprost for pigmentation glaucoma prescribed by my former optometrist which I later found out I did not have. While using this I did notice my eyelashes getting thicker. Long story short, I went to another doctor who took me off the drug and told me that I was fortunate to have kept my blue eye color because the Latanoprost caused blue eye color to turn brown over time. As Kimberly has stated over and over, we all have to be careful and each of us have different reactions. Happy Easter everyone from Virginia, USA.

I have glaucoma in one eye. Xalatan glaucoma drops made my lashes grow so much on that side, that the doctor said to rub it on the other eyelid so they'd match.
Castor oil works well, too, but I also have had success with Lilash.

Agree with Sonja below, Dr Dray does not recommend these serums; says they all have an ingredient like prostaglandin. I have dry eye and these products made it worse. Would love to hear others experience who deal with dry eye.
I also have dry eyes and I watch Dr. Dray. Would love to have longer lashes but I'm quite sure the serum would irritate my condition.
I have extremely sensitive eyes... I've been using Grapeseed Oil to remove my eye makeup. I've noticed my lashes aren't as sparse as they were :) Some mascara's can dry the lashes and also the ingredients in the mascara formula can make the eyes feel dry. I' use the Essence Lash Princess Sculpted Volume mascara has been my favorite for quite a while now. Take care everyone :)
Best eyelash grow product is Castor Oil cold pressed and it doesn’t irritate your eyes , I have the same problem and guarantee you , as is also very good for skin and hair , love it and use it for long time .
Grapeseed OIl conditions the lashes also
A lash serum caused me to get blepharitis and it’s not good. My eyes are also very dry.
Kimberly, I have been watching your video's since the lockdown. I just recently decided to get some Ordinary products. I am 60 years old. I wondered if you might update your skincare a.m. and p.m. routine. My skin is exfoliated pretty well now and I really want to start an The Ordinary routine. My skin is actually very much like yours as far as fine lines, large pores and I react to products rarely if at all. I know you have used and changed products over time and so I am very curious as to what to use and the order to use the products. TY!
Thank you for the video. It was very informative and educational. Having very green eyes, I absolutely do not want to use a product that has any prostaglandin in it which reportedly turns light-colored eyes to brown (or at least a lot of brown speckles) which is why I never used Latisse. I checked the ingredient list for the VieBeauty serum, and they all seem fine. I'll give it a go. I have been using Anteage overnight lash serum for healthy lashes, but it does NOT cause them to lengthen in any way - which I am looking to achieve. I miss my lashes of my 20's and 30's. Revitalash started the eyelash growth serums. A Doctor here in Santa Barbara used the Glacoma drug ingredient.He invented it for his wife when she had Cancer. We used to sell Revitalash in our Salon for $120, it sold out everytime! It was amazing, but the drug company made him stop making it, so they had to reformulate.

OMG this video is just in time. You are not going to believe what a bone head move I made. I missed my appointment to get my eyebrows waxed so I decided to use one of those hand held spinning razors for women. Instead of clipping my long bangs up in a clip I attempted to go under them. I thought I had hit my hair when in actuality it was my eyelashes that I buzzed off. This has to be one of the dumbest things I have ever done to myself. Thank goodness for false eyelashes. Which I still haven't mastered putting on good. So, now I am considering getting lash extensions. I just can't believe I did this to myself at this age. I am 56 yrs. old you would think I would know better!!! Thank You for all the research and recommendations. I can't even believe I just wrote this for thousands of people to read and laugh at me lol.

Do be careful. I got a very bad stye from using an Amazon lash serum. Others gave me no problem at all.

I've been using Revitalash for years and it has worked really well for me. I had an unfortunate eyelash curler incident back in my high school days and the lashes on my right eye have been a little wonky since then. Revitalash has really helped. I usually get it at Costco. They seem to carry a 2-pack deal a couple of times each year, so I stock up when they have it. I hope it's not being discontinued. I'm a little concerned that it's not being offered on the Revitalash website.
GrandLashMD works exceptionally well !! Be careful make sure you get it from their professional website!! You don’t want to buy an out of date product. I’ve also used Latisse I prefer GrandLash MD.

In the Nordstrom fall sale you could get the Revitalash for buy one get one free so it’s about $50 that way and I used it for about a year or a little longer. I haven’t used that one for over a year. I bounce around to different brands and I have good results doing that. I did buy Revitalash on EBAY a month ago and it was two tubes for $35. Is it the real deal? I don’t know and I haven’t used it yet. I really wasn’t looking for it but when it came up I decided to give it a try. Your lashes look really pretty. I’m sure you know this but once you get them the way you like don’t use it every night but 4-5 times a week. Great video.

Hi Kimberley really enjoy your videos. I've just started with an eyelash serum (UKLash and I'm seeing amazing results at 5 weeks) and I am also learning to take better care of my lashes (long overdue). I wonder what your opinion is of 'tubing' mascaras? They are a new (and wonderful) discovery for me as I have lost many lashes over the years to trying to remove stubborn, clinging on, mascara. The tubing mascaras simply wash off with warm water leaving lashes intact. That's the part I love. Would love to know what you think of them, as they seem loathe to advertise themselves as 'tubing'. Maybelline Sky High for example, not sold as a 'tubing' mascara, but performs like one - that is, it comes off with warm water. Would love to hear your thoughts.

Hey lady! I used Latisse for years (covered under my plan.) It works like a charm, BUT: It turned my eyelids permanently red over time. When I went to the eye doctor for the redness he told me it was from the Latisse, and that it was permanent :( I'm currently using revitalash. I'd prefer healthy & affordable options anyway. I have been using your lash booster mainly for my eyebrows. Lashes are ok but didn’t have any hair over the left brow and only 8 or 9 over the right eye brow. After just one week the left has 6 hairs and the right has 15 or 16. I am so hopeful. I still draw on brows but am looking forward to. Not having to do that.
