I bought a chineseium external HD for PC online for £16 recently and it emulated so much more. But at these low costs it's worth buying more than one for different variants to cover everything and also to different types. At the low prices you can one in every TV room for fun.
@@WickedGamerCollectorhey friend! Can I use this with my 80 inch TV or will it not work??? Do I need a smaller TV??? Please and thanks for your response
It’s a cheap game stick that’s just a bit of fun. Probably won’t last six months but for £20 or so shipped from another continent it’s fine. Runs old school consoles well. Don’t know what you’re all expecting for £20 😂 People saying ‘stick it in the bin’ … there will be some people who love gaming but have little disposable income and this could be a good option. Stay humble.
You cannot expect the more demanding games to run on these game sticks with only 64 GB on the SD card !! If you prefer to play the more demanding games plus modern games, you will need to spend lots more ! Preferably, a system that has at least a 2 TB hard drive. You have lots of options as a gamer. Tue hard drives come in lots of configurations - anywhere from 2 TB up to 96 TB. Usually , the game pads included are not that good with the lower priced game systems !!
There are more different types of consoles thank you for going over the game stick. There are other types that are out there that I wonder can I just be hooked up to the TV or do they have to go through a PC. Me personally I'm looking for more of the ones that can be hooked up to the TVs. Great video.
If I'm not mistaken, this was a leftover TV stick that repurposed as emulator machine. Also, those gamepads are cheap as hell. Back in mid 2000s they were sold as low as 1 USD (the cabled version).
The reason it only shows up as sonic is it HATED the ampersand. If you run the file names through a macro replacing it with either and, or ‘n’, it fixes it. I still can’t get it to run ps1 games right. With the sound
That's weird. Can't you ask the company sending them to put a different description on the package? That usualy works. (I'm in the Netherlands though, could be somewhat different).
@@WickedGamerCollector im still using android 4 🤣😂 i dont depend on netflix or any other VOD apps that needs subscription. all i need is youtube and casting feature. will be good if i can find 1 to replace those projectors or tv with old android built-in that runs emuelec. 🤩🤩
Great video !! They should have had a 256 sd card !! 64 GB is just not enough !! Better yet , a 512 GB. Of course it would cost way more !! But this one costs only $25 !!!
Not really, you don't need every game. How many games on each system do you actually play? On my RG35XX H even though it has a ton of games I routinely play 30 or 40 titles
I have 2 capture cards at this moment and it gives a massive problem. Incl. audio delay. But .. i can try sometimes 😅 Was thinking this gives it the authentic wicked vibe this way. Capture is not that bad 😅
@@WickedGamerCollector Thanks for the reply. Capture is normally fine if you use a hdmi splitter and send one to the TV so you can play and another to the capture device.
Consoles are a thing of the past, I've had one since they first released and yes I am that old. These types of systems are better since you don't have to pay for the service. Or a gaming PC is good as well.
The whole stick thing is kind of pointless in my opinion. It’s not really faster than a box design because you still need an adapter to fit it in the port. It’s not that much smaller when you realize the controllers take up more space than the console in either shape. And it comes with the risk of burning up because everything’s packed too close together. Ultimately it’s a gimmick. It appeals to the idea that you want a fast, small solution, while in reality it’s neither of those.
So you do know about the malware on it and what happens the moment you plug that into any of your devices? Look into it. Trust me any device you plug that into is compromised it's very easy to do and they are fooling you with the cheap price.
Agree, did see many new people join the party and did not even know they are out there. Beside that noticed people search on them where game stick is a general thing now we do have many different versions with all kind of different software. Maybe .. JUST maybe there is something that works ok 😝😝
@@WickedGamerCollectorSome of my friends love these game sticks. They were gamers years ago and but them for nostalgia reasons, which they are perfect for.
They are not all crap for the casual user or someone who is feeling nostalgic. They are good for retro arcade rooms at home. Plus they are handy to take on holiday, or to use in spare rooms at home. You can give them away as cheap fun presents. You can add to the builds to improve them. I have 3 gaming rooms in my house and I use multiple types of these kind of drives along with actual hardware along with my actual retro hardware. But I'm thankful for the ease of such devices. Though in this case I can get an HD for half the price with so much more so it displays what is possible out there and it important for game preservation as well. I recommend using the for presents and on old CRTs if you have any.

These are great and perfect for just quick gaming for retro stuff. I cant believe it actually runs Naomi, to me that was worth it alone.

to be honest though you can buy a whole pc for $50 that can do all this much better and more....

Would it be possible to load a batocera sd card on one of these Wicked Gamer?
Better than the powkiddy y6 in terms of performance? What about in terms of selection of newer gen (eg ps1, ps2 +, etc) games?

Do they have PS1 games like Tekken 1-3, Resident Evil 1-3? Jackie Chan Stuntmaster? I am really very excited and i am looking forward to buy this
It's chaper just to get a 128GB Micro sd card and load it into a Poormans Firestick(2GB ram,8-16GB Drive)
I recently picked up a y8 stick because it was super cheap, but this one looks like a decent buy too.
8K ? Nice ! Just like the PS5...
🤣🤣
Yep, we use one as a home entertainment hub... Got one second hand... some special edition that can play older version games

Can I use bluetooth controllers while charging them on another power source and play on the same time? Cant stand batteries.
Where do they sell those game sticks?
Once you buy the stick do you get all the games too or do you have to pay for the unlock code
Can you play def jam NYC on the game stick?
You should do a video showing us how to back up those TF cards.
As with most of these kind of systems it's most probably just a plop it in and copy/paste ordeal.
Your video very very good🎉 . Cassiano from Brazil
Can you add another type of contoller?
