Currently, It is raining cats and dogs in the Cantabrian mountains and the first snow is falling down. I Would recommend some kind of gore tex shoes if the pilgrim is coming in Autumn.

I always feel like lots of rain is the time to NOT have goretex since they never dry out. I think I’d only want goretex for day long trips in snow/ice to keep warmth. But honestly everyone has to do what works for them

It is great to see you posting again. I went on Camino in first week of October and did not finish. I had to stop due to injury, it was very disappointing. I know my mistakes and will correct them and try again. You are very inspirational and I trust your advice. Keep up the good work.

Oh No! I hate to hear when people have to stop for injury. I’m convinced that pilgrimage isn’t just about the days we are walking though. You will make it if you determine to do so.
Thanks for your encouragement about the videos. It’s great to be back to making video!

Started using the toe socks two Camino’s ago. I am prone to toe blisters and these toe socks did an Incredible job keeping me from getting those blisters. Highly recommend toe socks if you suffer from these.

I definitely get toe blisters. I will try them some time. But I don’t mind the toe blisters so I just haven’t wanted to change anything up

Hello from Italy! This video is great! Love the ideas, especially the poncho that I have used every day because we got rain every single day! I have started my camino a month ago and I miss it so much! It was my first camino and I walked from Porto to Santiago! You should try the oxeego socks, it is an Italian brand and I arrived in Santiago with no blisters at all!

Thank you! I just made my first Rome pilgrimage in July. I have a video about that and I’ll post it soon. I’m leading a group of pilgrims back in May and so excited about that new adventure. Then I will be returning to take a group on Camino too of course!
Love that you got your first Camino and called it “first”….that’s implying a return trip 😂

@@CaminoGuide That’s so true, because I am going to do my second one in May or June! That’s why! How cool that you were in Rome! Please keep in touch as I am based in Rome and if you need anything I would be happy to help!Like if you need tickets for Papal audience or wish to have a private mass I can put you in touch with the lovely Vatican priest who did the Camino with me! We are colleagues because I am a wedding planner and we met 15 years ago and we became friends! He got the chance to celebrate the Pilgrim’s mass in Sunday while we were there! Looking forward to see your Rome video then!

Thanks! I also have a PRS P22 that is an incredible guitar. I need to rotate the ones that are in view as Easter eggs for all the regular viewers who play guitar. 😂
