I just love your accent. It makes my day. Your pieces had SO much potential hiding under that tired finish. That wood grain!!!! Wow!!! You did such a brilliant job and your craftsmanship is top notch. Thank you so much for saving these!
I can't tell you how much I appreciate you taking the time to keep the lines clean. This is so impressive. I was thinking the whole time, please don't paint that beautiful wood grain pattern. Love what you did with the stain. You definitely know what you are doing and it shows. Also, as an American, seeing the bird was the coolest thing! I've tried to show our animals here in Wisconsin, USA. I think it is fun to get a glimpse of what others may see in their area. Please try to add more of those things. I just love it. Awesome job on this one. I had to look up "daggy". Barry, Mad City Modern (Madison, Wisconsin, USA)
It is not only the color and design but the true touch ability of this piece. What a joy to see the life of the area, too. Cat fingers and kookaburra and palms in the sunshine on my rainy day here in Penn's Woods( Pennsylvania). One always wants to stroke a swan, doesn't one?
I like watching your approach! You seem to be enjoying the process. You even brought your cup of coffee outside...makes the mood of the session less intense and more fun.
Hi there from sunny Southern California! Love the color and you did such a beautiful paint job! She’s just gorgeous! Love the kookaburra what a sweet gift you got to see him. Thanks for sharing!
Beautiful choice of colors for the table, no longer an only duckling. You do meticulous work. Bravo! I appreciate your sharing some of your country with the kookaburra shot--I have never seen.one. We sang a kookaburra song long ago in elementary school: "Kookaburra sits in the old gum tree, Merry merry king of the bush is he...."
I laughed when she said scary Australian spider. White tails scare me. I have a pair of kookaburras living near me. Every day I hear their songs. I just love the sound.
I’m 62 and I do some furniture repair and painting. Nice to see an older woman doing such great work ! Most I see on UA-cam must be in their 20’s . Your stuff is beautiful ! Love your choices . Too many furniture painters do the same thing over and over . You are different and that’s so nice to see. Please keep it original and change things up often. It can get boring real fast . Also appreciate you keeping the chatter at a minimum. While I love to hear what people say I really want to see what you are doing. So thanks for that. Thanks for the Kookaburra .My mom used to sing a song about them but I’d never seen one . Happy to have found you .
Love your vision for this piece! Great job transforming her! She is singing out to be recognized and noticed! Brilliant! Thank you from California, USA!
I love the colors you selected for this piece! It's really unique. I haven't seen anything in that style where I am, so I am glad you chose this piece to redo. Your attention to detail is wonderful!
TY for sharing the lovely water view, 🌴, ☀️ & rare kookaburra sighting. I like that you kept it real, & admitted the stencil was upside down (those whoopsies happen to us all). The sheer, whitewash & gloss accented the long, lovely wood grain previously hidden under that ugly 70s stain! Flying kitty bonus 😂
Oh she is indeed a swan, just gorgeous 😍🤩 and I can totally understand getting distracted by the adorable black Kookaburra and thanks for sharing it’s the first time I’ve seen one ☺️ 🌷💖
I was sooo excited about the Kooka! He hung around for most of the day! We have a family of magpies we feed and he caught my hubby feeding the magpies then just swooped on down for some lunch! I feel so special to have seen him. Thanks so much Melissa 😻😻😻
A beautiful Swan. It's an Ethan Allen coffee table. That Early American style was very popular in the '70's maybe late '60's. It was before MDF and laminate. Ethan Allen still makes high end furniture. Love your work. I'm now a subscriber thanks to Rochelle at Mannow Lane recommendation.
I remember my Grandmother having one of these in her bedroom at the foot of her bed. This piece did look dated, last century, but I didn't consider it an ugly duckling. The paint job you did on it really did make it look like it should be in this century. 2 thumbs up!
Definitely swan! Very pretty! I like nature videos. I love when I watch you or Rachel and you can hear all the birds. I live in Florida so all of our bird song is different.
What a cool-looking bird. I live in Texas so that was a treat to see, love birds. The piece turned out to be very pretty, love the stencil, and the white-washed top.
I like to watch furniture flipping as I drink my morning coffee. I was zoning to your video and slightly praying. Then you showed that bird. LOL. I only discovered that bird a couple weeks ago, I live in the US. And when I first discovered it gave me a sense of how strange this planet is. LOL. And I think furniture flipping, aka turning garbage into art is human spirit/goodness/strangeness manifesting into beauty. What I’m trying to say with a bunch of hippie dippy words, is thank you for giving us these videos, it’s about more than just the end product of the furniture, at least for me and I think a lot of us. I love the green🥰
I just love your accent. It makes my day. Your pieces had SO much potential hiding under that tired finish. That wood grain!!!! Wow!!! You did such a brilliant job and your craftsmanship is top notch. Thank you so much for saving these!

How cute is my grand kitty! (My sons cat) xx
I would have had paint in my “cuppa” and lip marks on the side of my paint container! 😂
I had to check myself several times to stop this very thing from happening! 🤣🤣🤣
Love the colour combination.. definitely a beautiful swan now.
Thanks so much Phyllis 😊
Love it ... marvelous!!!

It was a really well made piece and I think maybe tassie oak. But don’t quite me on that x
Hermoso!!! Me encanta cuando dejan ver las vetas de la madera y ése acabado blanquecino!
Thanks so much ❤️
I love the green color!!! Not sure what it was used for. Looks like a double wide end table from the 60s. My mom had 2 that were not as wide.
Hi Chris. I think your right. I have two that are half the size too. 😊
I believe it’s a coffee table. They weren’t very large back in the 60’s and 70’s
She certainly looks refreshed! Love the kookaburra; being in the US I think this the first one I have seen up close! Great and lovely transformation.
Thanks so much Linda. I’m glad you enjoyed the kookaburra ❤️
I love how it turned out, the colors made it look more modern...she was kind of sad and lonely looking before, you did a lovely job!
Thanks so much Lisa 😊
