Just ordered mine today. I have a somewhat unique application as mine will be powering a power supply in the car (such as the ones used in RVs) wich several times now I've forgotten to unplug when driving the car away...

Interesting guys. May look at picking one up for my new ram 3500 diesel, just need to find a place to mount it where it looks reasonable and still works. I noticed you’re on amazon.com but you’re not selling it on amazon.ca.

No routing shown of the wiring. Only showing a gm with holes in the grill big enough to route the existing cord shows a lack of customer focus.

Step 1: Scratch the shit out of your hood, using the Voltsafe packaging.

Great idea, great product but installation with zip ties...no way. Not going to mickey mouse that....

I picked up some stainless steel zip ties at CDN Tire. Better, but still a hokey mounting system.

Any way to sell this product without all the cardboard packaging, thus reducing the price somewhat? The environmental snowflakes in Alberta that are using a fossil-fuel burning vehicle instead of a Horse, will blow their minds if they have to deal with the cardboard too.

These are not reliable. Check out the Amazon reviews. Extremely high failure rate.

Need to make a video of driving away with it while the vehicle is plugged in. Those zip ties are a weak point and will fail over time.

It's magnetic, will easily fall away if you can't remember it's cold out and had to plug your vehicle in

I would think that the first basic functionality to include in the app would be an unscheduled manual remote on/off. The app can't do this. The next functionality would be an automatic timer to turn off. The app can do this, but only after a scheduled on. The schedule function allows multiple on triggers in a day, but you can't set what days this happens on, meaning that you can't exclude Saturdays, Sundays, or any other day of the week.
Out of the box, my device says there's a firmware update available, but the update fails every time, even though the device is plugged in per the instructions, and I'm connected to my wifi network.
The Rubber cover, on the female receptacle you mount on the front grill of your car doesn't stay closed, meaning the contacts will be exposed to moisture & road salt. If this item worked as designed, it probably won't survive a winter.
    A Beta product at best.
