I just bought this guitar and I am quite satisfied with it. Anyway there is a specific issue that worries me: the lithium battery, contrary to what is written in the user manual, is not replaceble by the user. Lithium batteries usually degrade in performance in 4/5 years, until they are useless....so what are we supposed to do at that point? Send the guitar to some laboratory in China just to replace the battery? That's absurd IMHO.
@@mickaelroyet48 no, at the moment the battery is still operational, I suppose that when I will have to face the problem I will call the seller for help. It apppears that to extract the exhausted battery you need a special tool: in that case I will ask them to send it to me. Tha battery itself should be a common type that you easily find in the internet...at least at the moment.

So , not to upset their sponsor, they say "not bad" or "pretty good" instead of "disappointing".But then they didnt pay for it, so there is nothing to be disappointed about.
The video material is quite nicely done. The concept of this guitar is best done from the marketing side. I had the opportunity to listen to this guitar (version 3) during a ballad concert. Of course it's more of a computer than a guitar, it even has a looper. It has a DSP module, so all stage effects as well. It can work regardless of the level of humidity and temperature. These are positive things. However, no one says what this guitar does not have. She doesn't have a clean, acoustic sound. It does not and cannot have it, because what we hear are digital sound emulations. A long time ago I had a Line 6 700 Acoustic hybrid guitar, where the sounds were created fully digitally. So we have a pretty expensive guitar, but we don't have the real acoustic sound of a wood guitar. The other downside is that it's just plain ugly. This is of course a subjective assessment, so please don't treat it as a big minus. Everyone likes something different. All in all, I wouldn't spend so much money on a guitar like this, I'd rather look for a decent (maybe even used) guitar from a reputable factory at this price.
Is it takes specific strings because here in Greece we don't have them yet so if it takes something specific I would like to tell me or leave me the link so that If I order the guitar to know. Also I would appreciate if you could tell me about the size because iam learning guitar this period Iam playing songs but I want to know if would be comfortable to learn to play because of its size.
What a nice looking and sounding guitar and those built-in effects! Awesome. I like effects. I'm more Jake sized than Sophie sized (over 6 ft with big hands) so I wonder if it would be too small for me. What does Jake think of it? Have the two of you thought of doing joint reviews? I was rather underwhelmed by the FreeBoost. The guitar as a guitar is interesting but purchasing it for the FreeBoost amplification and effects without it being plugged in was rather unimpressive for the most part. Plugged in, the effects are obviously more present. But without it being on a mic or plugged in I thought the effects were not what I was expecting. The FreeBoost *might* add about 15% to the overall volume, but not as BIG as they sound on this video, Obviously they are picked up far more when mic'd.

It's electro acoustic, so you just plug in and it automatically turns on. You can also play it unplugged and just turn the effects on too, no power :)
Sophie ... did you choose color white (to match your room decor??) ... I heard that black color leaves finger grease marks very easily(?)..
