How is the wrap holding up under the waterline? My black tracker needs paint, but I may try to just gloss wrap it over painting, do you think it will hold up long term?
There are different wrap materials but 3M IJ180Mc-10 was used on this boat, and can be used on vehicles as well. Side note, the gloss laminate is 3M 8518.
How much should it cost to have someone print out a wrap like yours to install it yourself? I have the exact same boat but white and your wrap looks super legit. I want it 😆
Try one with rivets and a rib down the side. It took me 2 hours per side on an 85’ 18’Alumacraft. I didn’t use any seam sealer mines been on for 2 years not a pealed place on it. I cut it 1 inch above the bottom of the boat. Putting on a wrap is not for a beginner. I only used the heat gun on the rivets.

You can layer over the decals with no issue. They are slightly embossed under the wrap.

Yes, I use it all the time.
Where you popped the pin holes to release the air bubble would you put sealer over them
No sealer needed, just post heat and your good to go!
What different steps for wrapping fiberglass?
Same, as long as the gel coat is in good condition. No oxidation or roughness, needs to be slick to stick 🤙
How do you apply sealer to the edge if you cut the wrap flat without overlapping to the bottom?
Just wipe it on, vinyl to hull
