Just bought the Speakers and the Reference 100sw Sub for about 440 Shipped total. Massive Upgrade for audio on my gaming PC. I use a headset to game but Podcasts & Music are full of life w this setup.
Apart from the sound quality and the connection options, what I love about these speakers is that they automatically sense if a paired device is trying to connect and automatically switch themselves into bluetooth mode. Even if it's currently on phono (connected to my turntable) or aux (connected to my TV), it's so convenient to be able to connect from my phone or laptop and play music right away without have to change modes on the remote.
I have the same type of setup but a CLX gaming desktop, a DJ controller with the 51s and a SVS 12in sub that's overkill, but that bass is for my roots reggae😂😂
If you get the powered version (link in video description) then you don't need a receiver, otherwise, you need one, so the passive speakers can be powered by the receiver. How do I make it louder? I’m running a fluance rt81 into these speakers I just received half off “like new” I do not own a subwoofer, but am open to the idea.
@@ToolsElectroDIY lol I meant louder with a device, I’ve already cranked the volume that’s available with what I have, but thank you for the obvious tip.
I always feel like people in videos get completely different products. Mine can't pair with any phone, they don't show up in the list of devices, PC recognizes them via USB but they don't make a sound and phonograph keeps merrily using it's inbuilt speakers while these just hum to the beat. I also waited for them for 3 weeks because the seller lied about them being available. The only thing that works properly is the remote :)
@@ToolsElectroDIY when I hit the up volume on the Klipsch remote it turns my tv on and goes to Netflix. They say it uses the same code. So it does do that. I was hoping that you knew of a way to get that to not happen. Besides buying a new TV

Awesome! Thanks for sharing this tip and your experience!
Hi. Any thoughts on the Klipsch r-50m? Is the r-51pm better? Thanks in advance.
Oh the M version means it is a passive speaker.a receiver is required to power it
@@ToolsElectroDIY hi. Didn’t know that. Thank you! I appreciate you.
Use it with my Technics 1600 mk2 turntable & Technics PD 9 CD player 😊
awesome, thanks for sharing!
Nice review, thank you. I like these speakers but I wish it supported Bluetooth 5.
BT5 That’s more for low power consumption
I found them new for 335 euros, last piece. Are they worth that price or should I look for something else?
Yes they worth it

sounds great!
Why do you need the receiver? Is it too quiet? I'm planning on getting Klipsch R1-5M and lp120XUSB..do I need a receiver?

Turn up the volume. Or use an external preamp

Can you recommend where I can buy a sony discman like you have in the video?

bluetooth pairs fine.
hello thanks for your review. Can you use these speakers on a crosley cr6019e-smk turntable please? Thanks.
Yes. The speakers are universally compatible with any analog audio device.
How are these different from The FIVES?
No idea
Only $50 more for 51 vs the 41… hmm thinking of these
If the desk size is not an issue, go for the bigger one. But keep in mind to 51 is pretty big.
@@ToolsElectroDIYthey just released newer versions, slightly bigger… R-40pm & R-50pm
Is there a solution for the remote turning on my tv and sending me to Netflix?
I cant find an answer anywhere
No it can’t do that. Try get another universal remote

Thanks!
ATLP3 is better?
Why? I'm happy with LP60BT. They seem to be the same.
Can you also use it on a smart TV?
Yes
This speakers without bass. If you want bass, enable subwoofer.
You can enable the bass boost mode.
