Please good sir, change your title to: "Blender 4.3 release candidate is here and it's AMAZING!", UA-camrs have been uploading videos titled "blender 4.3 is here" ever since the alpha dropped, it's mildly annoying for people who are waiting for the actual official release to come out...
2:22 The new diffuse roughness is intended for materials like jeans, concrete, asphalt, etc., which are much rougher and lose less light to Fresnel effects. When creating these materials, set the diffuse roughness to 1
nice video - many thanks pretty sure that the grease pencil gradient thingy depends on adjusting the location/rotation/scale sliders just below the boxes where you choose the gradient's Base and Secondary colors
Wow thats weird, because sRGB used change normal map colors incredibly. But bizarre thing is. If they are created outside blender, normally sRGB is used as a profile. Super weird
17:52 I only recently learned that Blender could do that all along, but you had to hold shift while dragging the window out. Glad they removed that dumb method, which I'm apparently not the only one who didn't know :D Love the new volume options and diffuse roughness. Huge improvement.
I keep wondering why you state the price if you buy them individually, while that isnt even an option?! How is the value calculated even? The 50% off banner now adds a course for office building. Not sure why that doesnt link to a page overview, showing the details of this 50% discount?! EDIT i do see a text now, roughly $57 per asset. Okay thats quite generous pricing actually
Wasnt really clear what this offer even is. Now i see the offer was a course, which is separate for the 1 year subscription. Its kind vague, nothing is really explained on the pages how it works in terms of this sale
@@RomboutVersluijs I'm a subscriber, and yes I agree this is confusing when you click to sign up it show a subscription for 1 year for $75, but the pic below it says "product offer" and shows the building class, which is something different. Overall pages and navigation are not clear. Just some feedback, love the products! *I think he keeps saying the individual price so you can see what a good deal this package is.
iMeshh has the one of the best archviz resources on the market , especially for it's low price. It's probably the best first thing you can spend your money on if you do archviz in Blender. Besides models, you get complete scenes, textures and geometry nodes presets for creating floors . And a free addon for importing stuff, which is also very good. It's an amazing deal if you ask me.
@adiiiiii1 gn presets? The store only shows 1 array item. Yeah I've seen lots of his videos, he has indeed tons of good stuff. Many tips, I mainly follow for that. Ps thanks for giving your honest word about this product. If I ever do commercial projects, this one of the first I'll probably get
That's weird, normally if you add chappers, the video will also have sections. This works aswell, but find those sections in videos always handy, just a tab on it and I have to leave fullscreen made
Which one would you prefer? I understand Blender doesn't have it all, but the rate of its progression for free software is insane. Each release brings with it a huge list of improvements in a vast number areas which I think is quite commendable?
Oh wow... So you want an universal software that can offer all that stuff at the higher quality... Keep dreaming, kid. If you want to make VFX simulations just use a dedicated software for that like Houdini or Embergen. By the way, do you donate to the Blender Foundation? Of course not. So please, despite your VFX concerns about Blender focus on the software's strenghts which are many.
@@Ablumz I don't know, I think it fits in its section very nicely. There are countless professionals using it and making money from it every day. If it fits them and does everything they need them why compare? If it doesn't do what you need then fair enough

You're right!!!
Gotta have them clickssss
yes plz
I downvote all videos with incorrect titles like this, regardless of quality...
I agree with you about when people are referring to the alpha, but here he's talking about the RC. This video isn't going to age poorly
That is definitely what the Mesh Determinent node is for. Spot on!

Nice overview!
Blender 4.3 is **Almost** here
nice video - many thanks

News just in: Blender voted yes to being a queen
Sure, Elon. 😏
your comments always make me laugh 😂
😂😂 thank you
At 16:39 , where exactly do we find these settings because it's not there. Did you miss a directory or did the menu's change since release?
IA for Grease ... when ?
Blender looking Unreal!!!
Because it's virtual
Close, but it’s Blender not the new UE5.5
Thanks for your hard work!!! ❤❤❤
No problem :)))
Huuuge update :)
Thanks for the video!
Great video.. sorry for the confusion.
21:25 you want to choose Raw as color space for non color. Raw here is Linear Rec709. For normal map it must be sRGB.
Wow thats weird, because sRGB used change normal map colors incredibly. But bizarre thing is. If they are created outside blender, normally sRGB is used as a profile. Super weird
@@RomboutVersluijs probably you view it with some kind of tone mapper applied on top.
Here in YT world, your UI is much smaller than on your screen. A boost in it's scaling while you're recording really helps out here 😉 thx
Sorry :( switched to Blender 4.3 and forgot the UI to be bigger. I usually run it at 1.3 scale but maybe i should run it even higher
Thank you fir this sir.
Its ok
Is the eeVee GI still screen space only?

6:59 that explains alot thx
Nailed...💪💥🗯🔥💭❤💨🕊
Blender honey of my heart 😅
I've never known software to be updated so frequently and with so many updates haha
If I'm honest, I find the addative of that extra roughness confusing. No other engine has 2 roughness sliders as far as I know
4:25 shadows
Bro said release so much at the start 🤣
4.3 Release Candidate isn't available. Its still beta.

😊
17:52 i can do THAT!?
Haha yeah, and amazing it is so easy now. Grab a corner and pull it out of Blender. Amazing!

not AMAZING.
in 2024 Blender has a
worst Simulation engine
worst Particles
worst RBD dynamics
worst Cloth system
worst Fracture system
