Closest you'll get is the Halo mod for Homeworld 2, which is sadly on pause for now as, I think, the devs are busy working on battlestar-galactica and mass effect mods for that game. Other is Sins of the Prophets for Sins of a Solar Empire. Slightly more 4x, but you do get space-battles. Also you really do get the feeling of a losing a war against the covenant if you're playing as humans.
@@Augment_Failure Ah. Yeah don't think thats gonna happen anytime soon. Think there was some concept for a space battle Halo game from Creative Assembly and it was gonna be Halo Wars 3. But thats only concept stuff.
Halo has needed a space combat game for years at this point. Fleet Battles doesn't cut it.

@@Razgriz_01 I'm aware of both mods, but I meant a "from the ground up" game by a developer. Would enjoy seeing a Halo rendition of BSG: Deadlock.
