Basically, Filipinos are fans of extremes in all flavors. If a dish is sweet, we like it to be really sweet. If it's sour, we like it really sour. If it's salty, we like it really salty, etc. You get the idea.

I don't think the people are sweet! My family left philippines when I was 8, going back there in the last 17 years looking similar to the people but still different because of clothing style, language and seemingly lost...they're not sweet at all. Very judgmental, they know you're not from the country. I try to blend in so I can get the 'real prices' on items but when my phone rang and it was my sister on the phone I spoke english with an aussie accent. They went from wanting to charge me 80 pesos to 150 pesos after the phone call. I'm glad tourists have a great time though. I personally love the food and shopping, just not the general public.

It's been a favorite since. McDonald's invasion has not stopped Jollibee bc most Filipinos prefer Jollibee. Well, personally for me, it's tastes better than McDs but I do eat at McDs as well. They're both good it's just that Jollibee's like a trademark for us :) And Filos mostly have a sweeth tooth and at times, theyd like something too salty. Weird but yeah. Glad you liked it! :)

A lot of Filipino words have the same spelling but different in meaning and (most) pronunciation. tira (leftovers, could also mean the act of leaving leftovers) is pronounced with the stress on the /ra/ whereas tira (shoot verb, could also mean the noun shot) stresses the /ti/. There you go! 2 different words, same spelling, different meanings and pronunciation

No. Not really..... Most Asian food I've had are not sweet like the spaghetti from Jolibees. Some are sweet, but not the same way Philpinos like it like ttoeboekki, pad thai, Tawainese sweet pork, etc. Philipino food is just sweet all around, whether it be the sauce, protein, or carbs. I'm also Asian.

I love watching this again and again, reminiscing this is the first time I saw you, then I followed in every social app. A girl from down under, but you're family are from Bulgaria which capital is Sofia(which I think a beautiful name for a girl). Asians really, really love rice so that's why most of us usually order meals. Usually most of us order burgers or food without rice if we're in a hurry (or when we crave certain stuff 😂).

CBM Champ is Jollibee's best burger so far. When I was a kid it's not always in the menu, might be seasonal, so I always crave for it. Thank goodness its permanent in the menu now.

A Jollibee yum Burger costs, ₱30. Convert it and it's so cheap. Even a coke costs a penny in dollars.
Well, Jollibee was originally made in the Philippines. So, compared to... let's just say, a US Dollar, a dollar would be at least ₱51 this year. Every year, the currency either goes up or goes down for us. So... I guess if you buy something that costs less than ₱50 in Jollibee is less than a dollar.
