I innoculated my daughters from a young age....if anyone tells you..." its a secret or dont tell your parents..." i have told them to come immediately and tell me. It worked and now they teach their kids to do same. Always keep communication open.

It scares me that in spite of numerous protests and complaints our political parties fail to take control of the education system and end this terribly flawed system. The bureaucrats seem immune to public opinion, media scrutiny and political will leading us to the conclusion that our politicians are impotent at best and fraudulent at worst.

Aren’t our political leaders supposed to reflect the will of the people? Impotent? No, I don’t think so. They’re exhibiting power, just not the people’s. They’re reflecting someone’s will, alright, just not ours

I am 100% convinced that the good Professor is correct on what the future holds. These people are playing the long game & have infiltrated all over the place to the point that what they say, feel and do, will be widely accepted as perfect normal (but of course).
Meantime we are sitting back and allowing it to happen, as if that worked when they first appeared. I believe in tolerance and allowing people to grow-up and learn from their mistakes. However, as Dylan wrote, The Times are a Changing.

When intellectuals are in line with the self evident truth of our great great grandparents that's an awesome thing.
So many intellectuals have stupified themselves away from basic truth.

In highly structured groups like you get in the armed forces or elite schools there is often a rigorously enforced dress code, a consequence of this is that identity is based upon what you contribute, achieve and learn but your appearance is far less relevant. In our contemporary consumer society identity is base largely upon appearance which means the development of an internal world and the resilience that brings is simply not developed. This is then magnified by the interconnected nature of social media and an intolerance and dread of being disconnected and alone. It is difficult to see how this process can be easily reversed.

Dr Faredi is spot on. In this present culture which has adopted an affirmation only approach to gender ideology, people feel validated. It's a powerful motivator to adopt a trans identity. Plus he's right on how trends tend to spread, or social contagion as it's called

In the week from March 18-25, there were two instances that progressives should take careful note of. One of them was with a collective of Muslim from 7 distinct ethnic groups hacking into systems to disrupt actions of Fashion Week, because a garment worn by a model offended them.
The other involves the people who were at the church in Belfield where One Nation's Mark Latham was addressing an audience. Outside there was a clash between pro-trans people and a much bigger collective who opposed this clique. As we now know, these guys were a collective of Middle Eastern people from both the Muslim and Christian faiths, who banded together "to fight debauchery".
Those men were quite obviously the sorts of people you don't want to mess with. And it's a certainty that they won't disappear into oblivion. So, considering that peoples from non-European and non-Christian sources are almost the majority of Sydney and Melbourne's popultion means it's only a matter of time before they square up with these radical lefties.

The social contagion of bulimia/anorexia, cutting/burning and now ROGD has always been centered by white middle class girls. There is something in the chemical maturing of the female brain in this demographic (in the environment of (food, housing, economic and medical safety and with college “educated” parents)) that is not working. I feel it must be a nurture problem as it is not cross ethnocultural. We need to look beyond the preadolescents stage as well as this demographic is also center of other extremes of progressivism (vegan, eco/climate/extinction extreme activism, wave feminism, safe-space, and anti-whiteness) and this demographic in maturity are the core of most humanities “studies” programs.

Or perhaps the perception that eating disorders have always been centered on white middle class girls is based on disproportionate media attention to this group? Indigenous Australians suffer from eating disorders at a higher rate than the general community. Men suffer from the condition at about half the rate of women. Eating disorders aren't some neurochemical quirk exclusive to white females and created by woke parenting. But even if eating disorders were largely a problem facing white middle class girls, the most likely explanation is the competitive stress they face in every aspect of their lives - achievement anxiety displaced onto a need to be beautiful and thin.

Whoever does the defining, parsing of values, no matter what political persuasion, has to ask themselves on what justification (if not ideology) are they making the 'split' and hierarchy of those values. What I see in the two speakers is the materialist worldview over a spiritual worldview--the point of a healthy worldview is to include and (carefully and critically) integrate materialist-spiritual (in part = thinking-feeling ). If this holistic integrative worldview and consciousness is disregarded as I hear in these critics, well, we are not going to progress at all in any direction as a whole society. This kind of parsing put forward by the speakers and some comments below, shows the need to keep creating value binaries--and, guess what--that will be more severe culture wars. There's too much stereotyping positions in the discussion and it creates 'straw-man' positions to knock down. Even though, that said, there are some useful critiques too that I agree with up to a point.

One of the most important reasons for the falsification of identity
Satisfaction and indignation syndrome and their association with the tendency of the soul to praise those who like it,
You accept the same foolishness from one side and beautify,
    While you reject from another.

As the video points out, there are several conditions that some people have without social contagion, but which young people - mostly girls - have taken on as a result of social contagion. Eating disorders and cutting have been mentioned, but Disassociative Identity Disorder and Tourettes Syndrome are two others. And then there's the bizarre identifying as animals and inanimate objects, presented with deadly seriouness. I'm sure there are more, or will be more.
Persisting gender dysphoria is a real disorder that people do not grow out of and for whom therapy does not work. For them transition, with all its medical risks, is worth it. It brings them peace and they can go on to build a life.
But it's a disorder of the type that people who have other psychological issues can mistake as an explanation for their inner troubles, and transitioning as the solution. Hence, the need for a long, unrushed period of objective, not affirmative, therapy to find what the person's underlying issues really are.
I dont want to see those with real, persisting gender dysphoria thrown under a bus any more than I want to see kids with false dysphoria getting thrown there.
