Hi Crosby Family, I'm a music teacher who specializes in teaching very young students and those with special needs. I strongly advocate for and there is a lot of evidence for the benefits of actively exposing young children to learning the language of Music and introducing instruments as early as possible. I first found you years ago when I saw Clair was singing so well, at such a young age. I have been paying special attention to the rest of your children (I thought maybe Clair was just a fluke) I couldnt use her as an example yet, because some kids are just born with it. Right? But this video is a perfect example of young kids Killing IT!!! It made ME so proud seeing a 6, 7 and 9 yrs old up there owning it. I got a little tear in my eye. Well Done!! I can even see the benefit in not only your Children's articulate speech and vocabulary, but their self confidence and genuine love for performance and each other. It's been beautiful to watch. This is some of the many benefits of Music. (And Good Parenting) I'm sure Clair has a voice coach by now. But, if I had a note for her (as a Berklee College of Music Grad and Experience Vocal Coach) it would be that she should focus in on her Breath Support. If she hasnt started seriously thinking about breath support yet, she should start now. That would change her tone and help her build into the next phase of her developing vocal anatomy. So that she is not over singing her vocal folds by not having enough breath support. I can hear her Pushing/Straining on the big notes lately. I think it's because as she gets older and starts doing bigger songs (like Adele's Easy) she will need the breath support to protect her Chords and Folds and all the good stuff. That song and many of Adele's songs require breath support since Adele is VERY good at it and yet after her 21 Album tour she had to have a vocal procedure. Just something to consider. She can hit the notes but she needs to support them or she could start to take damage. With Much Love.
At 70+, I love how much these kids are enjoying and playing music. My parents sang together. Then, as all 6 of us kids came along, we all sang together and played instruments in a family band. It was hard work but fun at the same time. So nice to see this with other families today. I sang my first solo onstage at age 3. Still singing and playing today. Go Crosbys! I agree that Claire should be taking vocal lessons now. Breath control is so important!
It is so wonderful that you allow the children time to just be kids. Play is a great way for children to bond. You can tell they all love the music. Junie just keeps getting cuter and so does Millie. I have to say it is cute to get some background on the beginning of this beautiful talented family. 💙❤️❤️💙❤️❤️

Wow !!!!!! They all did so awesome….but Claire’s voice when she sang those songs with Dave at the beginning was stunning. To sing Adele so well at her young age was just mind blowing. The group were just WOW TOO….really, really wonderful! Practicing together for such a SHORT time then able to play so well together is truly a testament to how wonderful they are …. and so young along with it. Many that have been together for years can’t play so well together ! It shows that they are all wonderful musicians and they should be so VERY proud of how well they all worked together….the only thing wrong was that I wasn’t there to see it in person, what a wonderful experience that would be, to actually watch the whole performance….it would be one of my huge dreams come true ! I come from a family of musicians. My grandpa started it all. He played the violin. My uncle's all sang and played together. Christmas was always so nice. Full of laughter and fun. I miss my family so much. They have all passed. And my path led me to Mexico. And I no longer sing or play the Violin.

What a great experience for the kids, ie to be in a kid band. That was excellent. I loved seeing Carson actually on stage, performing in his on element, doing something he loves & is confident in. Those other kids - especially the 5yr old on drums, wow! What a great time. It's good to see Claire still performing (or performing again?) on the other side of Covid-19 (although it's still here). Anyway, I'm so happy to see music coming back into focus again - from a viewers perspective. Great job Claire & Carson, and the Clairenets.

Wow! This band rocks!! Claire's voice keeps getting stronger and more mature everytime she sings. It was great seeing Carson on stage with his guitar and being so relaxed. You were right Dave, the drummer can really play those drums and the boy who played the guitar was such a natural. (Sorry, guys I forgot your names 🤔.) I believe we will be seeing more of this band for sure.

I've been thinking the same thing. I taught vocal music for 35 years. She has a wonderful voice....I'd hate for her to damage that instrument.

What a great experience for the kids, ie to be in a kid band. That was excellent. I loved seeing Carson actually on stage, performing in his on element, doing something he loves & is confident in. Those other kids - especially the 5yr old on drums, wow! What a great time. It's good to see Claire still performing (or performing again?) on the other side of Covid-19 (although it's still here). Anyway, I'm so happy to see music coming back into focus again - from a viewers perspective. Great job Claire & Carson, and the Clairenets.
I loved the concert. Claire was all in. It's been so fun to watch them grow up. I hope you never stop making these videos. I never thought June could get any cuter but she keeps blasting thru that ceiling.

Wow! This band rocks!! Claire's voice keeps getting stronger and more mature everytime she sings. It was great seeing Carson on stage with his guitar and being so relaxed. You were right Dave, the drummer can really play those drums and the boy who played the guitar was such a natural. (Sorry, guys I forgot your names 🤔.) I believe we will be seeing more of this band for sure.

I am exactly like Claire. I also go on TV or stage but to be honest Claire is so talented. Guitar and singing but that doesn't go only to her but her brother too parents have raised these children very sensibly. I can see Claire's future right now. Well done.
