A 2 state option has been offered multiple times, each time being declined by the palestine side . Isreal just offerwd a 6 week cease fire, all hamas needed to do, was let the remaining female hostages go... hamas declined.
And lets be clear, if isreal didnt care about civilians, they 1) wouldnt give them a heads up about when they are going to bomb a specific location, and 2) they could have ended this in week one by wiping palestine off the map. But they didnt.
