- It was a close call for Doorthy, This could have been really bad. The VIBRATION got so bad I had to pull the DRIVESHAFT to see what was going on. To my SURPRISE one of the U JOINT clips had came out of its groove presumably during the last GEAR SWAP. I think if I had raced it on a longer DRAG STRIP it probably would have all came apart.

Good save on catching this U-Joint! That thing was working its way off for sure!
@@HighRevNation Tell me about it. Too close for comfort.
U joint . Virginia , South Boston 1990 Dodge Van . 🎸🎸🎸⛽⛽🐱🐱
That was a nice catch. That could have been disastrous...great tip using ball joint press.
Pshew, tell me about Wes. That coulda been a bad day at Duct Tape drags in a few weeks.
Great catch on that one! Doorthy is ready to battle!!!
That was too close for comfort.
where I work we rent them out. Good to see how they work
Cool I rarely use my ball joint press for tiny U joints like those lol😂... I have others ways for those.
lol. I know you would. You always have the best car hacks.
Helpful video, I think i got an issue with the rear in my duster.
@@MoparJimmy Howling? Or vibration? If it changes going around corners it’s probably wheel bearings.
@@JonnyMopar When I take off slow right when the trans shifts I hear a clank in the rear end.
@@MoparJimmy That doesn’t sound good. If you’re stopped (holding the brakes) with the engine running and you put it in drive then put it in reverse and it clanks that’s typical U joint. But, it’s certainly possible a bearing in your rear could be going out. When you figure it out let me know what you discovered.
