I'm reminded of a text story where the brother's wife sold off all of her sister-in-law's things thinking she was a shut-in, only to end up owing two video game companies over a million USD.
I remember that or one like it but in the one I'm thinking of she had SIL charged with theft and sued her pants off. She didn't just eat the cost like this OP did. Guess which one I liked better? Even in Japan, in real life, a real business owner can't afford to just absorb the cost of replacing equipment even if it involves her brother's wife. MacAir texts is Japanese. In real life this OP would threaten to charge SIL, then drop the charges in return for a signed agreement for SIL to pay compensation. Sil would have to borrow money, go into debt to pay it, which could literally destroy her life.
It was grand to get all of the details how Jayne wrecked lives ...by being clueless and not listening and not just vindictive. I really liked all the twists. Thank you.
That isn't illegal everywhere. The laws greatly varies from country to country and any local laws they may also have. Where I live, in parts of the country it's not illegal while others it is.
They told her she worked remotely and to stay out I’d Jayne’s room. People don’t need to know more than this. Cleaning an adults’s room and it’s not your house? Selling their things? What sense does that make?
Jayne was told about sils work from home more than once. And pretty much ruined her husbands income. and throwing out or selling her sils things including her work laptop and materials. Jayne should have been sued for all the income she caused them to lose and the things that had to be replaced.
Most of the time I don't understand the logic of an MC sell their house instead of kicking the person out. Sometimes it does make sense, but in my opinion, this is not one of them. I'm glad the parents bought the house. Occasionally they will have MCs have the house completely demolished instead even when it's not very old. To me, that makes even less sense. At least it makes these stories entertaining, which is why I like watching these videos!
why is that in laws think they have the right to make up rules and force others to do what they say? You don't become better than anyone just because you marry into a family and whether its' a gaming laptop or for work or whatever of course she doesn't have the right to sell someone elses' things and of course that person is going to be upset!
Whether or not if op is working if the house is hers the sister-in-law has no saying who should live in there or not op owns it if you ask me I say the sister-in-law is entitled even selling someone's belongings without the permission of the owner.
I don't know how ANYONE can not understand what remote work is after living through an entire worldwide pandemic and numerous lockdowns??! Most of these stories could be so easily solved with communication, but talking to this Jane chick is like smacking your head up against a wall!! I dunno, maybe I just think these huge families where nobody ever leaves home and becomes truly independent are just kinda abnormal to me- I could never imagine living with the inlaws unless it was a huge freaking mansion with different wings or a duplex or something...ugh, and the brother has no spine at all- even his "escape" is a bit weasley lol, those two were not ready to get married AT ALLLLLL😂🙄
If Jayne has so much time to criticize her SIL she needs to go out and get a job herself. Bart and Jayne need to move out on their own and live on their own. I doubt that Jayne is doing anything.
Not saying she doesn't work I just want to know so I can get a job like that I would love to make 200,000 a year without having to travel to work. And with your job there is a big demand right how would 1 get into it and no I am not saying it's easy all jobs have pros and cons. I hated it when my ex would say that his job was harder than mine. I just don't want to have to worry about how I am going to pay my bills.
It sounds like Jayne needs an attitude adjustment. Cool Jayne you're a thief. Hey Jayne what gives you the right to start treating people like trash? It really pisses me off when someone moves into somebody else's house and act's like they own the freaking thing. GOOD LORD call the cop's on this nutjob for stealing your PERSONAL things. Those that don't work have NO grounds to badmouth anybody or call someone a freeloader when that is what they are. Ya NO WAY in hell would I have sold my house to Jayne's family.
Not just but act like the oh so perfect and at doing the right thing trying to " teach a lesson" . They're nothing more then annoying nobody projecting on to some one else to make themselves feel big.
Do people in this day and age really not understand what remote work is? It's literally everywhere, and growing quickly. I could understand an older person not comprehending it, but a younger woman? There's no excuse for that.
7:00 "Bart, just ask your wife if she slept through the entire global pandemic. And if she says 'No,' then you can tell her to remember how ALL the offices went remote for a year? Well MY office is STILL remote, because it's cheaper to operate that way, and THAT is why I am able to live here, to take care of MY PARENTS, while still earning a GOOD living, doing my remote office job, at XYZ company, and she can CALL THEM to confirm my employment there, if she doesn't believe you or me, and thinks we're both lying to her. In fact, I suggest you sit her down at a computer, get on the internet, and MAKE HER LOOK UP MY COMPANY so that she knows it's the real deal, and not some fake account you or I have set up, just to shut her up. Let HER find the company information, and call them, directly, and you sit with her, while she asks to speak to HR, and asks them to confirm my employment with them." That may be the only way to convince her. "Oh, and Bart. I want her to pay me damages for defaming me to the neighbors."
It's common for siblings to have different accents when they grow up in different places. My siblings and I have different accents. They grew up in a different part of the country from where I live as we have different moms. People often acquire accents from where they grew up, not what accent their family have. The story didn't say if they grew up in different places especially if there is a large age gap between them or if one was adopted.
Actually you can grow up in the same house with the same parents and still have different accents. I grew up in the USA in a suburb of Los Angeles California but many people often tell me I have an accent and ask me what country I’m originally from. If I had to guess how I came about having an accent I guess it would be because most of my friends had moved here from other countries and had to learn English as another language.
@@krazycatz I’ve just seen people adopt the speech habits of those around them. Like children developing British accents during lockdown because they watched Peppa Pig all the time.
MAN! i loved the silent background and that visual background!!! excellent job. can we at least say SIL was just dumb as hell, and not the usual greedy, better than, me me me type? lol NOT saying that excused any thing she did tho!
Why would you sell the house instead of kicking her out? And how did sil sell and move everything in an afternoon? That's just dumb. They do the trashed/sold all your stuff so often and it never makes any sense

I rember onentext atory where the op worked /own a gaming making company and had her SL sude and arrested for atealing/sellyher work computer. SIL should be in jail for grand theft. That work computer probably has proprietary information on it.
Same, i don't play with people messing with my things, especially my computer due to being a programmer
could be she used it a a remote terminal, so the data is stored at work not on the laptop
My entire life is on my computer. Nobody messes with my computer
Jayne needs a prison sentence. She stole and sold someone else's property!
Not only that but it was also stuff that probably had confidential information.
What a stupid way to show people that you're a good wife - by destroying your in-laws reputations and lives!
And forcing your husband to give free haircuts because you are just that special 😂
If it was a company computer why wasn't she charged with thief from the company too
Put her jail for theft

Im so thrilled to have Ash back. I adore her voice. She is super talented!

Jayne wants Sondra to be "proper adult." Just what is a "proper adult?"
For people like her a proper adults is some one who makes alot of maners has a job they can brag about and will do what ever she says.
I don't know I'm going on 50 and I don't know how to act 50? Did I not get the handbook yet 😂😂
Apparently, someone who both destroys and steals expensive items.
Apparently a narcissistic overload of their family and household and totally in denial of reality.
Jayne, that's theft. I hope you go to jail. (8:03)
There are even remote coders everywhere. I live in the countryside doing remote work
I wonder if Jayne knows that she can have her sorry carcass hauled to court for talking smack about Sondra.
That isn't illegal everywhere. The laws greatly varies from country to country and any local laws they may also have. Where I live, in parts of the country it's not illegal while others it is.
If your company gives out that information including and especially your rate of pay, they need to be sued for not protecting your privacy
Everyone should have set Jayne down and told her everything like you would explain it to a five year old and maybe she would have understood
She still wouldn't have listened. It would have just gone in one ear and out the other. You can't fix stupid.
Yes, a lot of theses things all happen because the instigator has been left in the dark by everyone else.
@@kimmccarthy7747 Perhaps, it's because they make wild ass assumptions due to biases and then take lunatic actions based on those erroneous beliefs.

Jayne only have herself to blame for her life failing apart
Great story, loved it. Thank you ❤

Dude !! .. she'd b too dumb too last any where ... n don't let her near any machinery
I'm always puzzled by siblings that have different accents. I doesn't make sense and I find it distracts me from the story.
story was very different
Jayne is a lost cause.
WAIT! What about the work computer being sold!? Shouldn't the company have sued for it's loss and potential corporate damage?
My favorite part of these stories...why does bro have a British accent???😂😂😂
Would have been funnier if she had a totally different one 😂
That's an Australian accent, but same issue....
Jayne needs to practice what she preaches
Good story l love it
Call the Cops and have her arrested and then Sue her into Oblivion!
script is very good
"I don't have a lot of friends either!"
Gee, I wonder why... 🙄
I still wonder what that girl that works from home is doing
game programmer maybe,
We work. Usually 8 hours. I am a medical coder

Jayne is clueless
A company wouldn’t give an employee’s information to anyone over the phone. Well, unless they like getting sued.
If she had house built, then why work from bedroom, I would have created a home office

Well Jayne, in order to be a good wife, you need common sense at the very least.
And a bit more on the psych meds, imo.
Why does the brother have a British or Aussie accent but the sister doesn’t? And I’ve heard of Sandra but not Sondra.
Aussie not British.

Dude don't use your sister being upset as a reason tell your soon to be ex wife the real reason .
Can somebody please explain why , if this Jayne stole and sold the protagonist 's property , and did not get prosecuted and jailed ?
If you had your own house why would you want an apartment or condo?
Probably because of limited real estate.
