Then when the accent dropped, she was another typical blonde model type, dime a dozen that the WWE has plenty of. Because she wasn't a good worker in the ring and just never really got the wrestling business aspect, she wouldn't succeed. I honestly think if she had been picked up by AEW after her 3 months was done and taken the wrestling aspect seriously, got trained, she could have done reasonably well in AEW especially at that time because outside of Britt Baker, there's not a lot of stand out personalities in AEW's women's division. Also, the barriers to entry in AEW isn't nearly as high as in the WWE so she could have been serviceable at least. I mean people praise Tay Conti because of how she improved in AEW but she's still far from decent and her promos are wretched. At least then CJ would've had Miro next to her and she was willing to put up a decent act. They could've been the power couple that Cody and Brandi wish they were, except that both seemed to take themselves way too seriously (although I do think CJ at times does this too but not nearly as bad).

I knew friends like that, keyword "knew". Basically it's a woman who doesn't want to ever feel guilty for any of her actions or short comings, rather than learn from it. Instead of actually learning to cut promos, or being useful, she just says brainwashed because it was easier.

I have read an article recently where it was written that CJ 'Lana' Perry Film Wins Razzie Award For Terrible Movies. That's a really big upgrade from working 300 days a year in a company who gave you recognition and fame
Considering she's probably getting more pay for better working conditions and less work on those terrible movies, it arguably is. WWE talent make a lot of money by everyday standards, but by the more comparable comparisons to other fields of entertainment and pro sports, even the top talent are making relative peanuts, which is the point.
