Apocalyptic Worlds - The Division Video Essay

The Apocalyptic world of The Division is a beautiful snapshot of urban survival following the collapse. In this video essay, I will analyze the post apocalyptic video game while comparing it to my own novels. The end of the world is as beautiful as it is horrifying to find one's self.

This was a great essay man and my feelings were the same as yours. I fell in love with this game during the closed beta and I have replayed it every December since it came out in March 2016. One of my favorite games for just world building and the experience and no other game gives me that feeling to this day. Although I wish more emphasis was placed on the survival aspect of the game as well as the story as opposed to loot and pvp.

I got my kids badass airsoft guns so we can cross train and I can teach them small unit tactics. We’re currently working on building a sustainable homestead that borders a large state forest. I wouldn’t say I’m a prepper, I just like the lifestyle and I’m a bit of an anarchist.
