After much deliberation, I finally took the plunge and invested in my first Charlotte Tilbury quad, Pillow Talk ($66/Can). Jessica Braun raved about it. I have to say I’m super disappointed in it. Granted I don’t have time in the mornings for any elaborate make-up looks for work but I was expecting better colour payoff. It doesn’t feel luxurious at all. 😔. (Great video! 💕)
I really like how you articulated every problem with every eyeshadow palette. I'm not English native speaker and a bit above average make-up consumer and I understood right away all your problems with those palettes.
I thought this was a fantastic video. You steered me away from a lot of these pallets that were on my wishlist. LOL. And I totally agree, Fenti cannot do eyeshadow palettes. She's good at everything else, but eyeshadow is a no-go. And do you ever look stunning today. You're look is so beautiful. You did a great job on it.❤❤
Okay with the lashes 😍 what a pretty look. That artist couture almost looked like a Nars Palette (extreme effects). Melt cosmetics is a hit and miss for me I wanted to also collect them. Great video I agree with your choices of dumpster palettes 😆 🤣

Liora you have got to try the Dr Jardt beauty balm spf 40 and the Misha Bb cream with spf 42. You will love this stuff, particularly in the spring and summer months although I love these year round. You get the most natural base while providing enough coverage for light to medium coverage and it blends into the skin seamlessly even when it comes out grey for the lightest shades it somehow blends to a perfect match but it provides long term benefits also that you can notice over time. I now know why people love these two so much and having watched you since you began your channel, I know you’ll use these all the time in your every day life if you’ve not yet tried them. They are so similar I don’t think you need both though although I have both and will repurchase until they stop selling it. They are that good as instant and long term skin benefits.

And I happened upon Dr Jardt looking for a good spf and I am in love with these two products. Because they are Korean, the shade selection is weird but even with both mine being a grey shade, they apply to an exact match when smoothed out. I know Dr Jardt has better shades and it is so similar I think that may be easier to find a shade in but it also a lot more expensive. I think I paid $9 at TJ Maxx for the Misha, but they had my shade and no one fussed with it! Lol
I mix just a little bit of Kosas' tinted oil into my Missha and the color & texture is fabulous. The combo is a medium coverage, which is the most I ever want. I apply the Dr. Jart+ sparingly, on my no-makeup, makeup days. My friends constantly complement me on my amazing skin. Lol! I never lie, I tell them what I'm wearing - but both have such great texture to them that the result is very skin like.
I just used my first Natasha denona palette and I was not expecting for the colors to get so deep on the eye than what they are in the pan so that was fun it got dark real quick but good thing I was playing with it right before dinner not like I was going anywhere
There are a few palettes I have in my collection that I just haven't gelled with - Huda Beauty's Wild Obsessions Tiger, Viseart's Dark Edit, Colourpop's Sweet Nothing, Natasha Denona's Sunrise are a few that spring to mind immediately.
I got the Natasha Deona love palette on sale on beautilish last year and I was not impressed. Those cream to powder shades are really hard to pick up. Especially that light purple one at the bottom.
I think it’s pretty common to see UD palettes on sale. I have 6 palettes abs I did get them all for half off, either from Ulta or Macy’s. Whenever the new palette comes out I know it will go on sale 6 months later.
With you on the wild greens and pillow talk palettes. Did not impress me at all, was quite bummed. Never tried any of the others and definitely won’t be because we seem to be similar in taste lol

Speaking of the tartlet pallets. Last year it was Christmas time I was walking through Macy’s and the tartlet all matte pallet was on display. I stopped because the beautiful lavender shade caught my eye. I switched it on my wrist and it was a beautiful pigmented lilac/lavender shade. For me I expect a pallet which has nine pans or more to have one white shade and one super dark shade. When I buy a pallet I don’t want to have to reach for another one to complete the lock. I will buy a pallet if it does not have those two shades in it… Anyway, this Tartlette pallet did so I made the impulse purchase… Welp… A year later I only used it once, the day after I bought it..😑 Like you said there are three shades in that pallet that look the same on the eye. It’s a dark brown burgundy, a dark brown and a charcoal brown-black. On the eye they look the same.. waste of pan space. It’s a shame that I don’t use it. There’s just so many pallets I like better…
I own the ND Love palette and have never used it, not because I don't like it but because I'm a little intimidated by it. I own the Lawless Baby One palette and used it once. It was nice. What is your opinion of Tom Ford eyeshadows?
I think it’s interesting that the wild greens was for once not a naked palette but UD basically made the color story as if it were a naked palette it’s like they don’t know how to branch out back to what they once were, literally had no interest when I first saw it so glad I saved money from not buying it lol
I agree with Fenty fo sho, so disappointing. As far as the rest I will take your word for them, I trust your opinion. Your eyeshadow looks great today. Funny thing is I did the same look today. Hahaha must be the look for spring. Enjoy your weekend!!
Can you link your necklace? For me, I got the ND Zendo palette in my Beautylish box which I never wanted. I tried it several times and it's so underwhelming, especially the statins. I haven't touched it since.
My Nicka K eyeshadow palettes perform better then eyeshadow palettes from Sephora.I do agree with what u did not recommend...i thought these palettes were just crap!
I have to agree with the CT pillow talk palette. It broke my heart! I’m a huge CT fan but this palette did not perform like the rest of her luxury palettes 💔😩
This was a great review. An honest one. I think I only have 3 of the palettes you talked about. The love ND palette was the first one I bought because I loved the colors. It works good for me. But my expectations are simple. I like pinks and color, but not so much super shimmers. I’ve watched how you do your eye looks and I can see why you didn’t like some of them. I recently purchased the Fenty palette just to see why so many people say they don’t like it. The reviews aren’t all bad. But I liked it. I liked the colors, I do like nudes and pinky tones. But it worked for me, keep in mind, not a pro or a content creator. Again I can see why you wouldn’t have liked it. I also have 2 of her snap shadows. The darker mauve shades and the brown colors. I like them for natural looks. The UD green palette it’s not attractive so I didn’t waste my money. And the Melt one, even though I like pinks, not a fan. The rest haven’t tried. But again you do some bomb ass looks especially the purple ones. But your blending skills are awesome. So there’s that. Again great video 👍🏻
Since I got the ND love half off I’m good with it That being said I wouldn’t be happy with it if I had paid full price Glad I don’t own any of the other ones that you mentioned
The original Naked 3 was such a disappointment that it was years before I bought another UD palette and that was Honey. Then I got ultraviolet, Wild West and heat-UV and Heat I got on sale. I don’t like Fenty eyeshadows at all

I hated the love palette. It was my first n.d. palette. I am not bying anything else from the brand because I am scared I will have the same experience.
I bought the Natasha Denona Love at 50% off. I really like a few of the shimmer shades. The rest of the palette is just a bit too vibrant for my taste. I felt that way with the Sunrise palette, too. I decluttered the Sunrise palette. The Love palette may be leaving, too. It was not a smart purchase.

I watch about 6-7 other influencers as well, they are changing that to contact something, it will not come to mind right now. I also follow them on Tik Tok. I do not use Instagram, no reason but you have rules that include Instagram as a requirement for your giveaways, so was sad I could not enter. Urban Decay keeps missing the mark. The last many palettes haven’t been good. Melt Gemini is way better. I have the love palette. It was worth the $30 I paid but not $65.
Great video! I’m pretty picky with eyeshadow formulas, they have just evolved SO much….I’m no longer willing to put up with mediocrity. I remember years ago really having to “work” to get a good blend….lol I’ve tried almost ALL of these! Urban Decay needs help, they’ve just completely fell off into basic land. I Remember when they were “edgy & innovative”, seems like forever ago…Naked 3 mini was tragic… I have fair/light olive skin, it looks like hot garbage on me, a total bruised unflattering mess. I really don’t understand why Fenty hasn’t nailed down a good eyeshadow formula, they’ve gotten progressively worse! The first large all glitter/shimmer palette & Moroccan spice were at least half way! Charlotte Tilbury eyeshadows are extremely hit/miss …over all not worth it and not really “luxe”…. Natasha Denona is my fav, Love is the only palette I don’t really use, it’s no where near her usual quality. I remember Tropic & Safari got mixed reviews, but I didn’t have any issues…tropic is actually one of my more used *older* palettes. I’ve noticed a lot of Vegan &/or Talc free formulas give me SOOoo much trouble, they crease and disappear or wont blend/layer/pack …my eyelids seems eats them…like I don’t have creasing / wear issues with anything other than “Talc free”…kinda crazy.
I didn’t buy that urban decay wild greens pallet because I found the packaging to be creepy. To me it look like it had the all seeing eye as well as snakes that remind me of the garden of Eden serpent. Hard pass.
I got the CT palette bc mel Thompson raves about it. I don’t care for. Nothing shows up and I’m a light-light medium skin tone actually I use the same shades of foundation as Mel. It was money wasted on that palette.
