It's a shame that Raven Software never got to Finish Risico. After Singularity, they were forced to work only on Call Of Duty.
It's also frustrating that it's impossible to find anything out about what they were even thinking to do with the game. There's almost no info out there on it.
It would be cool as to see game adaptations of classic 007 films be made huge potential there
I think a game could actually even make a movie like Die Another Day work a lot better considering it was prioritizing set pieces and grandiose design. There's a lot of iconic moments from the franchise and even movies that didn't fully land but could be repurposed into a great game.
I would love to see a crossover of James bond and splinter cell game

I would like to see a James Bond X MGS crossover. And if they made a crossover with splinter cell is another good idea.
My favorite bond game is everything or nothing, why cuz they are technically original stories like bloodstone, nightfire, and Agent under Fire which followed some elements from the movies but have their own twists.
Love the James Bond videos. I can't wait for you guys to review the Craig era of movies.

I love Blood stone, very underrated game. Feel like it caught too much flack being labeld as a "splinter cell conviction" knock off but i thiught it felt different enough and that gameplay fits bond more. Plus the story fits really well into Craig's movies in hindsight with them further teasing Spectre
The 360 quantum of solace game, I've played the hell out of that when I was younger
I always loved Everything or Nothing. Great story, great cast, fun gameplay. Bond really did well in 3rd person, and I have always felt if you are going to get the likeness for an actor you should be using that likeness in more than just cutscenes or special scenarios.
Also find it kinda funny that the Bond movies are high budget, A list movies. Where as the video games, are kinda B list, like as far as quality goes they don't get the same respect of the movies. That being said I'm excited to see what IOI does with the character

PS3: Goldeneye Reloaded.
It is a great shame that whoever owns the rights to the older Bond games, won't let a developer like Nightdive Studios remaster them.
I think having movie tie ins would be cool in the future, but I think we're forgetting how long development times are these days.
The IO project 007 was announced in 2020, its been 4 years and we haven't heard or seen a single thing since. The days are gone when developers could churn out a game in a year or 2!
Unfortunately I don’t think I played any game based on James Bond. The best I can do is Alpha Protocol.
My favorite 007 video game is Blood Stone and it such a shame that the sequel never got to be made which could gapped between this and Skyfall by having that movie being made as a prequel DLC which put 007 hunting targets like Patrice from the movie

I remember enjoying both Blood Stone and Quantum of Solace. Looking at my achievement list, looks like I didn't get all the achievements on either, though. Kinda angry at myself for that.
I never played the campaign of Goldeneye, so I can't judge it. But I remember HATING the multiplayer because it was just too easy to screen watch. At the time, I'd just go off and connect to friends on Duke Nukem or Doom, and later LAN parties with Halo. Having competitive multiplayer on the same screen like that always rubbed me the wrong way. Just not my cup of tea.
The multiplayer was a lot better for online than split screen I think. That said I do think that they should not have tied a bunch of achievements to these multi players because now people like us just can’t get them.
The James Bond games Goldeneye and Nightfire are good ones
I don’t really have any negative side personally. Just as long as they show respect to the character, I’m all good with it. There’s no singular “movie Bond” they’re all slightly different, so I almost just add their interpretation into the wider universe. Like the guy in Agent Under Fire is just as Bond to me personally as Connery, Moore, or Brosnan

Seems like every time there's 2 good ideas, companies think they have to throw one of them out. AC did the same.
I am still waiting for them to cast my queen Lizzo as James Bond. I think this would be extremely empowering and I think everyone would be a fan of it.

@@BigBlackBarret ESG and DEI affects the quality of the game from writing to gameplay and esthetics. If anything related to those (like consultancy groups like Sweet Baby Inc) are involved, the devs will be heavily restricted on what they're allowed to create.
When will we get the reboot where James Bond is a disabled person of color though? I see a lot of articles wanting to change the character. Could lead to an interesting game. 🤔
Needs to be trans as well, please. Then we need to get mad at anyone who wanted the original version of the character.
