I bought into this game big time. Shame Steamforged dropped it. But the community project has it under it’s wing and we are still playing and developing it. Lamplighters done. Lumberjacks on the way. Went to a tournament last month and there is a bigger one in May.
Great review Rob. The company that makes this just ran the Dark Souls Kickstarter that raised £3.75 million. They are actually based near Me outside a UK town called Stockport. I already have a ball type game which came with Galaxy defenders called galaxy ball. But this has peaked my interest :)
Rob, any chance your rating is going up now that they addressed your only complaint (lack of a 'starter set') with the Kick Off set? I'm seeing GB talked about more and more which is what drew me to start watching reviews of it including yours. Are you still playing it (or at least wishing you had time to play it) and do you still feel it is right in there head-to-head with Blood Bowl? Thanks!
Rob, I just watched a Dice Tower video in which you played Sam. In that video, you were not very enthused about the game. What happened between this video and that video that changed your opinion so much?

Thanks for the basic explanation on this, I saw some of the minis on MM today so thought I would check it out because the style was so cool

Its a brilliant game, I often think BloodBowl would only win on nostalgia for me. Beautiful models. Great company and elegant design. Great review!
Thanks for the review.

I have the same question
Any Kick Off painting video planned Rob?
Guild Ball is fantastic.
I couldn't keep up with the rules. I'm not sure a sports minis game is for me.
