I bought your backing tack and am planning on playing this for my dad as a Christmas present. He loves Elvis and the Ventures so this will just slay him. Thanks my friend.
Great interpretation - love the combination of chords and arpeggios. As a lad, Bert Weedon's version hooked me and got me into playing guitar - his version is still a favourite. 10/10
I love this video. I know absolutely nothing about playing, but have developed an interest. Definitely want to learn to play this as good as this guy does.
I agree the tabs aren’t 100% accurate, but the camera angle and speed of the song make it easy enough to figure out if you follow along and rewind a few times. Great vid!
Fantastic presentation. While the purist in me may not agree with the tremolo I must say it is effective and pleasing to the ear. And after all, what is music meant to do if not to elicit and express emotion? A beautiful song played beautifully. Thank you.
@@tomcon21 You are more than welcome. I play but mostly Elizabethan and older music on lute, vihuela and guitar. I've always loved this song. I first heard it in the movie Blue Hawaii back in the 1960's. I also play electric guitar and bass. Understand my saying I play these Instruments doesn't mean I play well. But I do try and I can recognize your talent. Again, thank you for the music. Play long and prosper.
Serious question: what barometer are you using to determine how much it too much trem arm? I’ve had a few other comments that it’s too “Hawaiian sounding.” Once I get going with that damn trem, I can’t control myself lol. Just curious if you have any reference for “tasteful trem” use. Thanks!

Another great presentation.... Chords and Tab to boot.

Thanks!

The first bit got me confused why anyone would make tabs for something anyone can play by ear in a second. And then you ramped things up. I like
Thank you!
What do you mean everyone?
I'm deaf as f bro :(
🤣
Because anyone can't play it in a second.
Maybe it's easy for you and me, but not everyone.
@@larryl1427 it's just a way for them to slyly say they can pkay by ear and are better than other players without actually saying it
I love this video.

My finger started bleeding just watching you slide that bar chord

Excellent. I'm going to figure out the big build up ending that Elvis used on the Hawai gig. It's the same chords only played an octave up I think.
Great, I should check that out myself.
Thank you for the beautiful composition!!
