After just one year of trying to get a feeling, for what I think are the best podcasts on the Steelers. You have become my number ONE podcast for the best analysis of the Steelers bar none. And you seem to be the number one guest for all of the other podcasts that I rate highly. I told you that you were gonna be famous. Now as a Steelers fan I only need the Steelers organization to realize your knowledge and expertise on talent and hire you on the organization to help scouting and Andy Weidel figure out the big board during the draft. Keep up the amazing work.
This podcast is as close as you're going to get to sitting in a coach's game planning meeting. From being fortunate enough to be a part of a few staffs at the college level, this is the type of analysis that gets shared back and forth in coaches/unit game-planning sessions, between the crass comments & ribbing on one another of course. DB is killing the game. Thankful to still have a little taste of that football knowledge after returning to a normal job. Being a GA/position coach for 10k/year+living expenses burns guys out fast.
There's always something that I forget to mention as soon as I hit "stop record" but when Bosa is aligned in a wide-9 technique far away from the tackle, he likes to get to his inside moves, not rush up the arc... Be sure to let me know your Steelers-Chargers predictions!

My buddy who’s a Steelers fan is really good friends with Junior Colson, he flew in from Miami to go to the game, gonna say wassup to Junior during warmups, bummed he can’t play. Hope the Steelers can put up some TDs so the offense can get some confidence, maybe a bigger win is to just go a game without the crippling penalties though, better not see GP and Pat on the sideline as much as the first games when we go with heavier personnel either lol
Smith ☀️ and Canada 🌖 are night and day. Last year, this would’ve been a sure loss, as giving a QB like Herbert so many chances will eventually wend poorly. But Smith sustains drives so much better than Canada, it really is night & day. I’m not calling it a guaranteed win, but u am confident we’ll see a competitive game from our team.

Hopefully Roman’s deployment is on screens and couple plays out of the slot instead of jets sweeps and end arounds. Cant call the score right now but itll be a tough match up
I thought Cam has looked great too. Jones isn’t handling the uncertainty, and I’m afraid they really are screwing him up. I don’t put much of the blame on him, it would be tough for anyone, especially rookies.
I agree, this does feel like an old AFC Central game. Definitely an extension of the Ravens in many ways. It just seems like one of those games where Najee and Jaylen are tossing people early and setting the tone. Nothing pretty to see here folks. 16-10 Stillers. Also, (if he plays) how much does Herbert’s injury affect their run game? Do we see more Shotgun/Pistol than the Chargers would ultimately like to run given his limited mobility?

Herbert being questionable really throws a wrench in this one for the Chargers. Figure he plays but if he’s really in a lot of pain and struggles with mobility then that’ll be a huge benefit for Steelers. I was ready to chalk this up as a loss just because we are so similar and Herbert seemed like the biggest difference maker to me even with Greg Roman and Harbaugh wanting to run first. Now I’m thinking our familiarity with Roman and their rushing attack gives us the upper hand. 19-13 Steelers
Herbert being hobbled is big for sure, curious on what he looks like physically. this is gonna be such a fun game to break down. thanks for watching man.
Fautanu? He mixed up his sets a couple times in the few true pass opps he has. I vividly remember 1 45-degree set. I think you’re referring to what Meyer refers to as a “chasedown” block which is something he teaches as an aggressive set change up.

I can even see a 24-21 Steelers overtime victory because of the aforementioned comment great Def and a rushing attack.
