I first used Kanban board when I was five. I didn't know what to call it, then. As I grew up and realized that giving a cool name to a common sense that everyone already knew inherently makes me an expert in software management.
It is one reason I retired early. I always seemed to be in the zone of trying to achieve more from less when they were called by managers who had nothing better to do. We planned everything, knew exactly where we stood... and actually achieved very little. More staff would have helped.

Really good tuition here... BUT why is Max, the on camera presenter, speaking to someone else? This "fad" in video recording is annoying and here used far too much. Professionally, I'd use the technique of cutting away to an 'off-eye-line' camera for just a few seconds at a time. If we meet someone face to face in everyday life and they spoke to some imaginary person away off to our left or right, we'd consider them either rude or seriously insecure. OK... Whinge over - I enjoyed it very much and benefited even more, so thumbs up for me.
I like your videos and the style of description, but honestly get rid of the background music. It is VERY distracting and too loud. This is a serious topic where one needs to understand the fundamentals, not a show just for the sake of it, or at least I hope so.
That is all nice and good if one is working only on User Stories -- but what about unplanned Tasks and Bugs coming at any given time from Customers through Product Support escalations and that must be dealt with promptly-- these are not mentioned in the video...
How many desks does this guy use in a day?
😭
The almighty "Kahn"-"bahn" board, used to tally which nations were conquered, being conquered, and about to be conquered by the mongols 🤣
The true origins of the methodology.
My man was trying to get his 10,000 steps in and this video was not going to stop him
This is how you do an instructive and not overly commercial
!

gotta love the mic quality switching every shot, and the camera not having a tripod, so the camera just shakes and sways the whole video.
all that walking around in cluttered office space is pretty distracting. Better off keeping the clutter out.

Thats the story of every job anyone has ever had. Mangers that are incompetent. Places that refuse to hire.
That's everywhere.
I feel like the more fitting backing music this video should have used is Dr Dre's - The next episode
Brilliant videos! You guys show do comparison vids on kanban vs scrum focused on pros and cons!

It’s called a B cam
Great video, very clear and well made. Thank you :)
Great video! Thanks. Question. Can we safely conclude that the "Active Sprints"view of Jira actually is a Kanban Board?
I am here because of Notion
Is it a good idea to use a process like this for personal productivity in lieu of a task or calendar system?
Kanban Board is an agile project management tool designed to help to visualize work and then I used cards, columns, continuous Improvement technology.
Hearing tech people talk about this stuff is incredibly cringe.
Are you AI?
Is this a music channel?
I did not

This was good info on how to use Kanban. Thank you Max !
100%
Excellent, succinct, and well crafted presentation
I'm so uncomfortable when he said KAWNBAWN instead of CANBAN
He is actually pronouncing it correctly. Since it’s original a Japanese term.
Thanks mate! Very clear. Appreciate it!
very interesting and informative
Love this, super helpful!
Great video! If the camera is on a tripod next time it may be easier to watch.
We appreciate the feedback!

Why does Max's voice sound so familiar? Has he done voice over work?
Just the Kanban, as far as we know...)
Its the way he speaks, more of Ryan Reynolds from Aviation Gin ad :)
