THAT ticket would be long gone by now . . . 10.9 was regular, 10.3 was rarer!

We, of course, we can't see the bike. What's different about it that makes it a full second or a second and a half faster than a stock 72 H2 when you made what really doesn't look like a great run. You must have been on a solo run as you were sitting when the light was green which I know you can do when you are just trying to run your best ET because the clock doesn't star on the green light, it starts when you tire comes out of the staging beam. Still whats with all that throttle blipping before the start? You are rolling and still blipping the throttle so you didn't really lay on full throttle until you were several feet into the run. I notice that, unlike that laughable run on that 75 H2, you managed to keep the front end down and you either learned how to do the clutchless shifting or you added an air shifter. I also notice were dangerously close to the center line and it appears as though you rolled a little out of a throttle for a second in 4th gear to gather it up.
What gives me the right to be critical? Because I learned to drag race my H bikes from one of the greatest racers in stock class racing. Pete Grassilli held many records. The one I have direct knowledge of his the NHRA stock class record on his blue 72 that looked exactly like mine, at 11.81. Stock class racing is all about start technique. The race is over at 100 feet usually and he taught me how to lanch. That was in 72. In 73 I became a wanderer and ended up in California have sold the bike for traveling money. Pete kept racing that same bike for years because nobody made a faster one until 78.
And then there is my street racing history too.
If you are the Rick Brett you appear to be I give you props for the museam and all the things you've done with the tripples. You tripple go cart and 3 wheelers and the one sorta like a sprint car are a hoot. Looks like you've had a lot of fun.
