Gonna be honest; I'm kinda running out of ideas for Mordhau videos. The wait between content updates for the game is just frustratingly long. I know a lot of you like to watch my Mordhau videos even though you don't play the game, but lately the game is becoming stale to me, and it's very hard to come up with organic video content when I don't enjoy playing the game as much.
The developers teased us with big content plans like female player models, new voices and a middle-eastern invasion update "coming soon" -- that was 7 months ago now. According to SteamCharts, the player base has officially dropped below 2000; the lowest it has ever been. It's pretty sad to see such squandered potential. I love creating videos that make people laugh, but Mordhau just isn't inspiring me lately.
I've been exploring other games to see if I can make similar style videos elsewhere, but unfortunately I haven't found anything that really does it for me yet. If you have any ideas for other games you would like to see me make videos of, please let me know in the comments here! Thanks
One game that you might enjoy goofing around on is Movie Battles II. Similar kind of community.
Completely agree I've been playing a lot again and have seen how low it's gotten. Most of the time there's only 1 Frontline or 1 invasion server that's full, at least on the us west side. I'm really hoping they do something soon because this is my favorite game.
maybe until the new content update try new stuff out and randomly throw a mordhau video out to keep up the viewership? It's hard to branch out when you've gained a following so maybe don't completely ditch mordhau but try other games? Since you've gained a following with Mordhau maybe stick to medieval games? Hard to tell, only way to find out is to try I guess.
I reccomend play Duke of york - 2x dmg random weapon server - there always happens something funny
If other games - Minecraft - I think people would love to see your ideas in this infinite possibilities game

Maybe you should do some community events on public server and record the whole process ! Like dwarf rock throw army, or archer squad invasion, tank polehammer division, stuff like that !!

From a used to be mordhau player, these videos are extremely entertaining to watch!
I burnt out from mordhau maybe a couple months ago due to lack of content as well. I found it fun to play invasion servers before, but right now it just doesn't scratch that itch that I once had as much. If you really aren't enjoying playing mordhau right now, I think its best just to try and find another game to upload vids on while still occasionally uploading mordhau vids for the other parts of the fanbase.

Love your videos. Its not the game that matters, but your concept of trolling and way of playing a game.
To me, it doesnt matter if you keep playing Mordhau or switch to a new game. I've read your stickied update. I would still watch any video that has you trolling people. Its the latter that keeps me watching your videos. Its funny!
Anyway, play the game you like, sir! Because gaming is about fun. And if Mordhau is becoming stale (which I completely understand) then its time for you to have fun elsewhere. Always put yourself on first place when playing games.
Yes, you have a channel, you have a community. But what good is it if you dont have fun and only make content to please us? Its not. So play whatever you want. Have fun. Because thats what games are about. And remember, its your playstyle that keeps people coming back here, you see.

I like that idea! If I ever decide to completely call it quits with Mordhau I might do something like that. That's if there's any players left by that point lol!
Perhaps doing more community events like an entire invasion team full of meme loadouts could keep things fun and interesting. I'd be down to watch other games too if you're burnt out on mordhau.

How about getting subscribers in a server and doing stuff with them like a 20 man shield wall? You could have an entire team full of subs and troll the enemy team, haha.
Hey Deargrigh I juste wanted to ask you what are your emoting keys ? They are X and F1/F2... by default but it's rly hard to use it. So I wonder if a filthy troll like you would use an easier combination

I've actually just stuck with the default keys dude! It gets easier with practice! I agree though there's probably a better way to bind them but I'm so used to the default now

Running out of ideas!? Just have fun the way you want. That's entertaining in it's self. Get on your discord or with your patrons and brainstorm ideas. Community stuff could be something to build on.
But yeah brainstorming with a room full of people would be a good start I think.

There are modded servers, yeah. Might do some videos on that! The mods are a bit limited. The devs were supposed to be releasing an official SDK to make modding easier but that's been another delayed update.
