"Survivalist"?! He's an alchemist! He turned yellow clay into red brick. That doesn't happen naturally. He must be some type of sorcerer...or else some of the off-camera helpers brought him a palette of bricks from Lowe's on their off-camera truck along the off-camera road.

This is one of the most outstanding videos I've ever seen showing what a survival master looks like.
The only thing I've ever seen that comes close, is the story of Dick Proenneke, a man without even a high school education, decided that he wanted a more simple life so he moved to the Alaskan wilderness and using only the most simple tools, built a log cabin from scratch and lived there alone for the next 30 years.
If there is anyone who is interested in seeing the documentary he made, it is called "Alone In the Wilderness."
However, in all these survival documentaries, no one ever tells us where they put their daily 'night soil?' In this instance, the home is too close to water that fouling it would be a real concern, and after two years, that's a lot of fertiliser. Where does it all go? Did he build a deep pit, or heat it up and use it for fuel, perhaps in the kiln? Anyone have any ideas? Why do none of these amazing men share this critical survival detail with us?
So, I don't know who taught you these skills, but they must have been very important to you and extremely impressed with how well you learned all there was to learn from them. If you ever answer comments, would you please tell us how you learned SO MUCH about living in the wilderness?
Your home is beautiful and to be able to live in the wilderness without the blaring city in your ears must be like heaven on earth. Thank you for sharing this with us and taking us on this journey with you.

    MASA PARA PIZZA 😋
    Ingredientes:
500 g de harina de trigo (preferiblemente de fuerza)
    325 ml de agua tibia
    10 g de sal
    10 g de azúcar
    7 g de levadura seca (o 20 g de levadura fresca)
2 cucharadas de aceite de oliva
    Preparación:
    4. Traslada la masa a una superficie ligeramente enharinada y amasa durante 10-15 minutos, hasta que esté suave y elástica. Si la masa está muy pegajosa, añade un poco más de harina, pero sin excederte.
    5. Forma una bola con la masa y colócala en un bol ligeramente aceitado. Cúbrelo con un paño limpio o film transparente, y deja reposar en un lugar cálido durante 1-2 horas, o hasta que haya doblado su tamaño.
    6. Una vez que la masa haya leudado, presiónala suavemente con los puños para desgasificarla. Luego, divídela en porciones (dependiendo de cuántas pizzas quieras hacer).
    7. Extiende cada porción de masa con un rodillo o con las manos sobre una superficie ligeramente enharinada hasta obtener el grosor deseado. Ahora la masa está lista para agregar los ingredientes que prefieras y hornear.

      @annreed7935 2 дні тому

Of course he's not alone there's at least one other, filming. I'm not disparaging his skills, which are phenomenal, but I saw thus as more of a video showing you what CAN be done. I doubt he was living out there all the time. Maybe a few nights in each place, but I doubt it.
If those were his only clothes, in two years, they'd be in rags by the end.
Where did he get the eggs, the potatoes?
I'm not downplaying anything he does, it's amazing. Armaggedon won't bother him - but let's be realistic.
