Agree with you here. Album has some much better ‘Single’ worthy tracks with huge choruses that I think you’d enjoy a lot more than this! The intro track ‘Hell’ is my favourite on the album, definitely chorus of the year contender 🔥
This is one of my favorite tracks of the album, up with Hell, Thrash and Blackbone. Definitely not everyone's cup of tea, considering the amount of showmanship present here. But hey, to each their own opinions!
This song is much more "showy" than the rest of the album - purely because of the features. But overall, the album for me is insanely good! Abysm (my fave), Purgatory, Hell, Thrash, Gold and Lore. Phenomenal tracks!
There's definitely other songs on the album that you'd like a lot more. Sometimes unprocessed's song structures can take some getting used to since there's so much going on and they often fit many distinct parts in each song. I think their unpredictability can make them seem a bit disjointed on a first listen. Anyway, I personally love every song on the album and I think you should check it out!
I personally like it but then again I'm a guitarist that enjoys what is basically guitar porn. This song is a total guilty pleasure. I think a more cohesive track is "I Wish I Wasn't". Got the cleans/screams, but the beat and riffs are much better for just pure headbanging. I'm kinda struggling to describe it, but I guess out of all the songs, it's the song I would expect to be on a radio station that plays metal.
Whilst I understand and agree with your analysis - I can see where you are coming from - I disagree with your assessment, but only because I am one of those people that love this style of music. There was even a bit at the end that had distinct touches of Richie Blackmore's Rainbow (ask your parents 😜)!
I totally agree with you on this one. I love Unprocessed and this song displays super impressive musical skill but this was a little bit too much of a "showmanship"-song for me. The sound of the mix is part of the Unprocessed sound. It instantly stands out as one of their songs. It's unique and adds to their style, but can sound a little jarring when listening to certain songs by themselves.
I see it exactly the same... I'm impressed, it sounds amazing, I love the mixes these guys have, production quality on all the levels is crazy good, but for some reason I don't get back to them as much... but when I go I really enjoy it... it's really strange :))
Yeah, like it’s quite brilliant in a lot of ways. But there is some connection missing there somehow which wouldn’t make me come back to it in a hurry. Hard to put a finger on exactly what that is, but I suspect it’s in the song development somewhere.
Your summary is super spot on when it comes to how I feel about unprocessed. It always feels like chops come before composition, I completely agree with you.
I agree with your review. I love their older albums, especially Covenant, and even the mix there sounded better. None of their recent stuff have done it for me, unfortunately.
Agree with you here.

Ahh literally just commented on your video before noticing this comment here 😄
Ok interesting, might be giving the whole album a spin soon then 👍🏻 Ta!

The vocals in their other song on the almub - Abysm - gave me more sleep token vibes :)
Oh really? I’m intrigued to hear that then.
Sleep token sucks
@@xborg3236 How come
I love this song. The whole album is nuts.
i love the song and love the mix haha to each their own! like the video regardless
To each their own indeed! Always subjectivity involved with this 👍🏻

Entirely fair, my dude!
I’m gonna need to look that artist up 😅

Riiiight ok. Thanks for the insight!
Check out Glass. A much better and more cohesive song that just released recently as well. This one is a bit of an oddity.
Cheers!
I agree the guitar is in the limelight, however, I love the vibe of it. does it need more vocal? meh? maybe

While I get that it's a bit much, I think it's still really good especially because DJL's (the bassist) metal screaming!!!

It’s a very tricky balance indeed.

Interesting 🤔 Thanks!
me too! i think their older stuff sounded so much better that this new stuff, there were so much cyberpunk futuristic style of song writting!!
Unpopulary opinion but they need a better vocalist to go with this kind of Music
Please check out terminas latest album
