- How to install the relay for LED turn signals for a '92 Yamaha Virago.
The solid Brown wire goes to the "B" terminal of the relay.
The Brown with Yellow striped wire goes to the "L" terminal.
I got the relay off of eBay for a few dollars. You'll probably lose the auto shut off feature of the stock relay but a small price to pay to have nice bright LED turn signals.
LED Relay - Can't remember exactly where I got it from on eBay, but just search ''LED Adjustable Motorcycle Flasher Relay' and you'll find them for around $5. Well worth it!!
And yes, I took and created the thumbnail pic for this video. - Навчання та стиль
*THANKS A LOT*, man! You really saved me there! Works perfectly for my Virago. Much appreciated. Greetings from Germany!
Thank you for posting this! I have a 1994 XV750, but I haven't found the correct wiring diagram for it, so your video saved me a lot of time.
Got any brand/model info on the orange relay??
Thanks for the video. So just to confirm; Solid Brown="POWER", and Brown w/Yellow Stripe is "LOAD"? Is that *always* the case?
I have an XV1100 and the stock relay is larger than this, with more wires, but it still has solid brown/brown with yellow stripe wires, like yours. I just need to make sure I'm cutting the correct wires to fit an LED relay...
I'm 99% sure it is the same for the XV1100 as well. There are Virago forums online that can confirm that 100%.
@@ScottYouger Thanks brother!
Ah ive just watched it ages ahh i get it..
Right so you swapped the wires over to new relay ..got ya.....so whats the relay is it a specific type..do you remember the part number?
Just search eBay for 'LED Adjustable Motorcycle Flasher Relay'. They have only 2 prongs - 'L' and 'B'.
All done sorted
@@ScottYouger...I'm just sat here feet up on the bike in the shed in bits having a minute thinking where to start next on it
