If they’re from Greenland, it’s probably Kalaallisut. It’s spoken in the capital and elsewhere. They’ve got two other native languages, but they’re nowhere near as common.
This is a pretty good song with a decent hook and good performances, but I don’t think the music fits the upbeat tone. Maybe if I understood Kalaallisut, I could understand how the music and video relate, but the video itself needs work. Shots linger for far too long considering the quick pace of the song. Half the video could just be clips of the band playing in a cool location (which there is no shortage of in Greenland if Nanook’s videos are anything to go by), and there would still be time to convey everything else, just more concisely. Also, while the language barrier might just be keeping me from seeing the significance of each scene, all I see is young people walking, talking, texting, and romancing. I don’t get a sense that there’s much drama going on. Overall, I still think this was worth watching for the song, as I was unfamiliar with this band before. Also, you guys seem to at least have the resources to make a great video. Keep up the good work.
lol what? I think it is absolutely great and very well done. I'm not Greenlandic, nor Dane, nor do I know Malik. It is just well done and has a great atmosphere to it.

You are an artistic genius.
+Tusiagtek Kaarali Um, thanks, I guess. I wouldn’t call myself that. At best, I’m a good critic, at least regarding the comment.
@@saturnFulgur thank you so much, I've been looking for a good dictionary for ages
