Birria de rez is a beef stew with chiles and spices made my Instapot! In today's video, I am serving it up a little differently. I'm doing quesa tacos or basically a quesadilla with the beef from the birria chopped and served inside the quesadilla. It is fried to a crisp & served with the birria sopa served on the side. Top with some cilantro and onion with a little lemon and dunk it into the birria before taking a bite! delicious. Thank you so much for watching!

I try to provide links to affordable options for some of the things I use. I find that shopping around locally is usually more affordable but sometimes it's more convenient to shop online.
Here are links to a few of the kitchen appliances that I use & love:

If you like a bargain, look around on craigslist or offer up bc I see people getting rid of them all the time.
I have love, love, love my Vitamix 6300 blender: amzn.to/37ZRfkg
This is a refurbished Vitamix: amzn.to/3mEfBEa

Yes! It is super delicious 😋 let me know if you try the recipe, I would love to hear how you like it!
I made birria tacos once and I was in love!!! It was a lot of work but super worth it I want to try with oxtails though
I love oxtail soup! I usually make it a bit different though. I’m glad you appreciate great food 😛 thanks for checking it out!
I don’t have a instapot but have been thinking about purchasing one. Your meal you created looks delicious
Thank you, its a new twist on a traditional dish. Pretty darn good imho. Thanks for checking it out :)
Those look fantastic!
They are! This was only my second time serving birria in this way but it is sure worth the extra step. Thank you so much for checking out the video!
@@VanzHumbleHome My favorite line is, of course, "I probably should have put more cheese." Always!
@@FrenchMartini 🤣😜🥰 Right! It's always better with more cheese!
Oh yummy this looks soo good. Lately Birria has been added to everything. I need to try your recipe. 😍😄
IKR! I was thinking the same thing. We usually serve birra the same ole way every time but I needed to give this trendy kick a try. It was totally worth it. Thanks for coming back to the channel to check it out :)
My daughter has been asking me to make this. I’ve watched a few videos and I think I’m ready to try it out. The only problem is I don’t know what it’s supposed to taste like to make sure I’m making it correctly. It looks great and now I’m hungry and want to make it.
I feel the same way with new recipes. This one tastes like an enchilada sauce but with all of the aromatics that you like. Some people don’t like certain spices and herbs. For instance I put allspice and more cinnamon and clove than other may like. I don’t put in marjoram or Tyne or mint and some people put those in instead or as well. Just make it how you like. It is a recipe that varies from region to region. Just put in way you like and when it tastes good to you, it’s done 😊
Wow so use angus beef? That looks so amazing. You’ve got my mouth watering just looking at this. I can’t wait to try this out in my instant pot. This is the perfect meal!
I didn't even realize it was Angus beef. I just seen the fat on on it and knew it was gonna be bomb. Don't you just love the Instapot? Life changer 4 real. Thanks for the support!
Yum 😋 This looks amazing. It is all the rave here in Hawaii.
My MIL is from Mexico, she’s taught me all her family recipes. I saw this traditional birria being put into quesadillas n had to try it. So ono!
I just got an instapot for Christmas and I’m looking for new things to try. I need to try this bc it looks so delicious 😋
You should! It is super delicious and pretty easy to make especially in the Instapot. That is awesome that you got gifted one.
Oh my goodness! This looks so delicious! I will have to put a good drizzle of your matcha oil on mine! My mouth is watering!
Oh yeah! That would be perfect 🤩 are you going to try it in your instapot? It’s nice to not have to be watching the stove constantly 😊
@@VanzHumbleHome I am definitely using the instant pot! Can't believe I waited so long to learn how to use it!!
@@TheLeisamarie yay! That is great to hear! You will love being able to leave the kitchen while your food is still simmering away! I’m so excited for you 🤩
I've been wanting an instant pot but for some reason they seem a little complicated... are they?
This looked so good! This has me wanting quesadillas now!
hehe, I think the Instapots do look intimidating but they are just as easy to use a a crock pot, except that you can sear and start with frozen food, oh and you can get a roast done in 1 hour instead of 6. Yeah, I always want quesadillas!
Almost 500 subs yay!!!!! My mom makes potroast all the time and Kalua pork
Yes! It is so good! I just made kalua pork again in the instapot, I will see of I can ever get the video edited 😜Your mom is da best!
I just realized that you cook a lot of local food too on your channel. Are you from Hawaii?
Yes we are! My husband was born O’ahu raised Maui. My kids all was born there but we moved away. It’s been about 5 years now. I have to make all the local food. Get a few local plate lunch places but it’s expensive and no good.
@@VanzHumbleHome I see... so cool. I love finding other UA-camrs from Hawaii. I am subscribing now. ♥️
@@HoloHoloAdventures Thanks yeah! I’m glad you enjoy my vids.
You think I could make this recipe vegeterian? It looks super yummy! You think is worth the investment for an instapot?
Yes, you can make it vegetarian. I have seen it done with flores de jamaica but I have never made it. I definitely think it is worth the investment but I always try to look for specials or shop second hand. It’s a time saver for sure.
