How wonderful this sounds on guitar! One can almost hear words. And what a gift to see this on youtube this morning- I've been incidentally listening to and playing a lot of Schumann this month. He composed the Album for the Young two years after he had prescribed himself a "cure by counterpoint" after a nervous breakdown, studying Bach's WTC and immersing himself in the writing of fugue, and it's amazing how he is able to weave skillful counterpoint very beautifully into these simple (but not so simple!) pieces.
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻❤️❤️❤️🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 I look forward to your videos for inspiration. After watching this one I purchased the e-book. Reading the score as you play I noticed a few enhancements. Nice.
I noticed that you rarely use a foot stool, as a beginner classical guitarist it would be interesting for me (and for a lot of others, for sure !) to have the opinion of a professionnal on new guitar supports you may have use during your career, with their advantages and disadvantages. Thanks for your beautiful music, my little brother is 7 years old and want to play guitar because he saw you on my computer, you're a huge inspiration to both of us it seems haha !
@@TeeHarb Congratulations! I'm jealous that now you have two Douglass Scott guitars! lol I know it is because of your technique mostly, but this Scott 2009 seems to have more mellow woody sound than your 2018. I'm sure age can make a difference in sound.
So moving, thank you.

Love the sound! Those Rode are very effective. Very nice playing Tariq!

Great work as usual Tariq - and great to see a new video from you, it seems quite a while since the last one (unless I've missed some posts).
Thanks so much, Snowfire! I did post one just before this video of a Bach invention. Feel free to check it out!
Nice work! Will put it on my bucket list. So many good pieces to read, so little time :)
Moving.
