5 bucks for 2 bites nahhh fam
Operation $5 Snack
Four episodes in less than two weeks feels like Thrillist is dumping this series.
I think you gotta add a fourth category. Like fullness or value for size. I'm glad you're turning me on to some good place but every episode be like "this place so awesome, $5 all I needed, every point on point, success". Some places, just because they're delicious doesn't make it a good "lunch"
Baohaus is awesome! Their plate specials are great along with the Bao. Eddie and Evan Huang are a genius with food!
Riiight?
OMG! He didn’t have to call Kushbu!
Better post production and editing would drastically improve this show. I know it's new, though. Keep it up.
I like everything about this show.
We love everything about you.
One of my favorite places
Us, too!
mad expensive son
Bon Bao !!
Ramen place I always go to has 2 of those pork puns for $7 bucks, and they have more ingredients in them...prez is gonna start being known as the $5 snack guy
That one little sandwich is more like a snack.
This host is the man. It's so easy for you (behind the computer) to say otherwise, but the character fits. Turn a camera on and let's watch you do a better job. If this isn't for you, then watch food groups or anything else
you should try a cooking segment the bun if home made would be 10 cents or less if bought 20 cents toppings 50 cents or less and the protein would be 1$ or less
Channel not the same. We miss you!
Not worth the 5 bucks fam
Thanks for "putting us on" a restaurant owned by a guy with like two food shows on TV...
hey! big fan, first time commenter. if you haven't already, do Percy's pizza on bleecker. now, one might think that dollar slices joints are all the same. this is not true. Percy's is not a dollar slice joint, it's a pizza place that just so happens to sell slices for a dollar. Quality mozzarella, fine sauce and dough that is far better than expected make this a slice that is not only good for a dollar, but better than most $2-4 slices in the city. The slices are slightly smaller than an average NY slice, but you can get three of them for the cost of most slices in the area. Percy's is cheap because it's no frills - not a ton of room, nothing fancy about it and the menu starts and ends with slices - no stromboli, calzones, pasta, jamaican patties - just pizza. This is the only dollar slice i have ever craved, instead of just buying out of necessity when i'm starving and broke.
Mmmm sounds delicious.
Something about this host. And also. $5 baos? I guess being full isn't one of the requirements.
Cmon......... how about Mei lai wah on bayard st. Roasted pork bun for $1.20
He said he can eat 4 to 5 in a row so it tells u that it doesnt full u up it's just a tease matthathon prices be high for something that little if he went to bronx he would get a whole meal
It'd be nice if it didn't look like it was filmed on a cellphone, that or some color correction would be nice....
Wdf card only. What kind of restaurant does card only. It's like saying I'll mail u the money on a website
Wow totally hating on 125th 145th 181st and 205th no love for the uptown.
I was thinking the same thing, and I'm not even from uptown. Perhaps they're just trying to slow the tide of gentrification?
That 'fun fact' was an opinion...
aziz ansari
Not 59th bud 57th.
...did he call bao a sandwich? come over to the 626 and see what bao is like here m8
Shout out to the hot English guy😍
Someone tried to sell me a bao for $15 once....
Literally none of this stuff exist here in the SouthWest. But I bet y'all can't get fried okra in NYC…
You should never bet on any type of food not being available in NYC. I know at least 5 places where you can get fried okra. I bet there is more.
There's quite a few spots in manhattan and Brooklyn that sells FRIED okra...which is awesome btw
Love the show, need a less annoying host though. Or just don't try so hard my man
Jordan Zareski thank god someone said it
Think you have to try hard in order to distract the audience from the fact that you really can't get a $5 buck lunch, at least I wouldn't call a 2 bite bao "lunch". Solution, double the budget or have no budget, it restricts creativity
it is to small to be a lunch..??? it is a snack,,
Ugh the audio sync is killing me
They DON'T take cash?! Let's pay a card service charge for $5? NOT!
hey man I was a sub but at 2:08 the homeless ppl in the back ground you by pass so I'm not watching anymore great video
This guy is cringeworthy
All these foods are like snacks u won't be full. If it was his favorite how does he not know it was pay with card only? With tax that's not $5. Host is annoying.
Angela T you're annoying
Yes he his annoying and not atrractive at all.
This is not a lunch. That's a snack. You failed this mission Prez, sorry.
Come on MAN....did u really just post a $5 snack...be real!!!!
this is not a meal, its a snack and even this snack is not worth $5
Thats expensive and not enough to feel me up you've been doing that a lot lately getting a hot dog for $5 a 8 oz cup of soup with no meat in it for $6 I think I need to start watching you you clearly don't know what cheap means
Card only bc Baohaus has been robbed at gun point for cash too often. LOL
