    Love the way you make these, very neat. Could the yellow centres be glued together first then applied to the poinsettia? I am messy with gluing and wondered if this would be an easier way for clumsies like myself? xx

      I find it easier to assemble the flowers first, but there are no real rules to this! Do whatever works best for you!

    Do you use wax paper to keep your board clean and protect the paper from glueing to the cork? I am new to this and you are my new best youtube friend. Thank you.

    Beautiful! I missed the paper widths and lengths.

    • @ThePaperyCraftery
      @ThePaperyCraftery  3 роки тому +1

      Thank you! I mentioned in the video that I wasn't giving lengths because different quilling combs can be different sizes and the lengths might not match up. More important is the number of teeth you loop around on your comb. Really as long as your two layers of leaves are different sizes, you're all set. Your finished plant might just be a different size than the ones I made. As far as the width of paper goes, if I don't mention it, its 1/8" because I use commercial papers. But different widths will work just fine too. I hope that helps!

    I want to add leaves with this that look similar to the real leaves. If anyone has any suggestions I would appreciate it.

    • @ThePaperyCraftery
      @ThePaperyCraftery  Рік тому

      You might find one of the first 2 leaves in this video helpful. 👉 ua-cam.com/video/I0ki_ID47lo/v-deo.html I think they’re similar to the second type but on a larger scale. If you wanted to, you could also use the same measurements as the poinsettia petals but make them in green. I hope that helps 🙂
