Like other people commented, it was the first time I have seen a little one being so helpful by opening his mouth. The was amazing!! He was also so patient through the whole ordeal. Thanks so much for all you do, and for sharing.

I keep wondering if the seals are guiding fellow seals with issues to the place they were rescued?
I am sure they run off fast, but I got the feeling that the first seal really was enjoying running for the water as fast as they could go after dragging all that stuff around. Good job.

Your long rescues are worth every second. We get to see what the hardest work is like. I still think these are exactly the kinds of videos that need to be shown on full blast on huge screens around the world. People need to learn just how horribly we are treating our planet and our cohabitants. And, as always, THANK YOU for the work you do to save these wonderful animals.
Absolutely!! The garbage is horrible, do they still dump barges of garbage in International waters ? Incineration would pollute the air but it can't be as bad as this ! We def. need to get some big brains working for better solutions.
That little piece of gill net, that weighs almost nothing, did almost as much damage to this seal as the power cord weighing down the fishing line did to the other seal. Thankfully, despite being in so much pain, he was a very good patient so you could remove it as quickly as possible and send him on his way to heal. 🦭🙏

Both rescues were hard to watch. The second seal was such a good patient and really did seem to understand you were helping. I can't imagine the pain the first seal had to feel dragging that cable on the sand or in the water making the line choke him and cut him more at each movement. Thank you all for your patience, your minutiae and your empathy.

The calm caring energies you put out while working on them are obviously felt by those pups who seem to calm a bit allowing you to work to save their lives. Good people. Good deeds. This shows clearly what happens with entanglements if they stay in place: they begin to cut deep and lead quickly to death! Both these seals were on the edge, in the danger zone! And the camera work here was perfect, allowing us to see how carefully you must work to make sure the job gets done right! You cannot help but smile at Tony's reprimand to the little victim: "No flipper out; you know the rules!" Great job! An awesome team effort! Kudos!

That 1st poor pup must av been in so much pain. The care you took to work out the best to minimise the agony he was in. You are amazing guys. The 2nd pup was so co-operative lol. Thank you thank you all for your early mornings, late afternoons & the stamina of your runs & careful cutting to rescue each & every one, I am so impressed. You guys amaze me with the hard work that you all put into rescuing these beautiful seals. I think the seals know why you chase them. The gentle way you get them to trust you is incredible. You guys do such incredible, wonderful work.
