Update: I have decided that my favourite fruit in my garden this winter was without a doubt the Pomelo, it was delicious!!!! So I have further decided to plant another one in the front yard, a red one :))) I have already purchased one for only 25E, lol we're out of season perhaps so things are cheaper :P I have also decided I need 2 Jatropha trees in front so they match, but those will be available in spring, as now my Jatropha is leafless :P who knows what other ideas I'll have lol

Nice work! I’n my years of gardening I have come to appreciate the mantra for planting and growing perennials and shrubs: a year to keep, a year to creep, a year to leap! The third year of growth tells you the proper spacing they need 😀

I am living vicariously through you with these garden updates, as an apartment owner with no garden space. Now I need to try pomelo...

Congratulations on a great garden space! It was a lot of work for you, but you will receive many years of enjoyment from it and lots of years to experiment! Have a great time with your new garden!

It looks so much better with the bark instead of those rocks👏 I grow my hibiscuses into a tree form not a bush, just to save some space. I noticed that hibiscus start dropping their buds when I miss a watering, they like to be more on the moist side. Love your content💚

Your garden is glorious! I love seeing you having so much fun with it. I also love gardening so much and can't wait for spring to arrive here in northern WI, USA. ❤

When we built our house we made the mistake of putting rock in our beds as well. It was horrible to plant anything in. We too removed all of it and we top our beds in mulch, so much easier to work with plus it helps keep the flowers moist longer. We have been working ours for about 7 years now and some of our perennials are quite big and need to be split up. So this spring we are putting in some new beds, can't wait to get started. But where we are here in the states, it will be May before the temps are high enough consistently enough for the plants. Your garden looks great.

It looks a lot better with the bark, but it must have been a real workout. I hope the roses will thrive, they are so beautifull. if you plant a grafted rose with the graft below soil the top can get its own rootsand they might survive longer. but i have grafted roses living for over 30 years

Oh my goodness I adore roses! I even named my daughter after them. David Austen’s are my fave, I have one that is called ‘Sarah Austen” and it is perfect, she blooms forever she gets no disease ever & she climbs, oh she is perfect.
I also bought “ Gertrude Jekyll” which is a classic so fragrant and massive blooms.
They are my two faves, I want a mango coloured one & the park rising.

Hi Danny, looks great! So looking forward to your new roses coming, how exciting! Just so you know, some Muscari can spread like mad, just something to keep in mind :) mine have behaved fine (not sure which variety they are exactly), but I know some people where they took over the borders. They are beutiful though!

I don't know if you've seen it or not but the older series Gardens of the World with Audrey Hepburn has an episode on Roses and Rose Gardens. Definitely worth a watch. I was always a sucker for those damned "Blue" roses, you know, the ones that aren't Blue.

Hi there Danny! So no adenium 'desert roses' in your garden yet? What happened to them? I truly love your outdoor gardening videos! Was pleased when you mentioned that you love aloes or some kind of plant from South Africa (I think). Love all your content

    Hi Dany
I just wanted to let you know I have hyacinth 🪻 in my garden in Cyprus and they also come back in spring! Actually they already start blooming in my garden second time at this time of the year. And they smell amazing. You might consider about planting them in your garden if you are in love with them like me 🥰♥️
